About Me
I studied at Norland College in Bath 10 years ago and have been in 3 full time nanny positions since then.
I grew up in the countryside and enjoy incorporating the outside into a daily routine of play and learning.
I love finding new groups/classes to attend and am pro-active in finding children friends to socialise and play-date with as I think it’s important for their holistic development.
I keep organised in all my jobs using a weekly planning board that parents and I can access easily. This helps keep everything running smoothly in busy households and is a great visual for parents to see what we are up to and help add things into a weekly plan! Within this board I usually do a weekly menu plan to ensure children are having a healthy balanced diet. (My current family find this very helpful so they don’t feed the children repeats on the weekends!)
My Experience
Work placements during college
- Several nurseries with children age 0-4 years.
- State primary school with reception to year 2.
- Private primary school with reception to year 2.
- Hospital children's ward with children of all ages.
- Maternity ward helping new mums get to grips with basic care (bath, feeding, nappies etc)
- Various babysitting/nannying jobs, both day and night time with occasional proxy parenting
Since qualified
- 2 years with one little boy (5months at start of role)
- 6.5 years with 2 children aged 7 and 4 years (9 months at start of role and welcomed a baby sister during my time with them)
- 2 years with 3 children aged 2, 6 and 8 (at end of role)
