About Me
I have worked as an Ofsted registered childminder since 2001. I have two adult daughters, one lives at home and the other lives in London. I use the whole ground floor or my home for my childminding. I drop off and collect from Overthorpe Academy. The service that I offer is focused on high quality care where I work closely with parents to best meet the individual needs of their child. My Experience
I have looked after children from 6 weeks old to 12 years old over the years and have excellent working relationships with all my families. My Qualifications
I have a first class degree in early years education as well as a level three and level 4 NVQ in childcare, management and education and a level three in childminding practice. I am accredited to the local children's centre and have achieved the Kirklees quality assurance award ( which is no longer awarded).
I can also offer 15 hours free care to children aged two, and 30 hours for three and four years old through funding.(Criteria required for two year olds only)

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
Fees for a full day are £40: 7.30am - 5.30 pm
Fees for part day, 5 hrs or less £32
5-7 hours: £35
Wrap around before school care 7.30- 9 am £12,
After school care 3.30 - 5.30pm ; £15
Before and after school together £20

I chose Michelle back in 2007 to look after my son when he was 2 years old as I decided to go back to work full time. Michelle is easy to talk to, approachable, professional and reliable. Michelle is always on the go with the children doing a variety of activities and lots of different outings to parks, playgyms, toddler groups, and with other childminders. Michelle has provisions for children of all ages. In the school holidays when she has the older children she has took them on day trips such as the seaside, adventure/theme parks and much more. When my son was 9, I had another baby, obviously she too was going to go to Michelle's which she did at 7 month old when I returned back to work. Michelle has had lots of babies over the years which I have seen her with as though they were her own. My daughter is now 4 years old and my son has stopped attending as he is now in year 8. I was able to go back to work knowing my children were safe and well cared for. Michelle gives up a lot of her own spare time doing extra training and courses to further her knowledge and understanding. I have recently moved out of the area and my daughter has now started full time nursery at her new school which she will attend in September. We are all very sad to leave Michelle as it has been like a 2nd home for most of my children's life and has been a big part of my life for the last 10 years.
