About Me

Hi, I have a Btec National Diploma in Early Years and have over 20 years of experience of working with children and am also a mum to 5 children ranging in ages from 3 to 16.
I am in the process of re-registering as a Childminder and am looking to offer term-time only childcare from September for under 5s Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with some flexibility for a few extra days in the holidays or an extra week during the summer holidays.
I also offer drop offs and collections from Thorngrove Nursery in Highclere for Nursery aged children. We have a well equipped child friendly home in Highclere, and I plan to offer a nurturing environment with up to 3 children at a time for a homely childcare experience where your child also benefits from socialising with other young children. Our day will be planned around your child’s needs including free play, planned activities based around your child’s interests and next learning steps using the EYFS framework, outings to local parks and playgroups and plenty of outside time in the garden. We have a lovely dog, Ruby, who is a Cockapoo and most likely will be called Waffles by the children! She will be kept separate from the children but loves to sit and watch them playing! We go on a daily walk around the countryside of Highclere so any children that only nap whilst on the move, can have their nap in the buggy in the fresh air.
I’m in the process of registering and I’m also looking into providing term-time only funded places so I’ll update my details once I have completed the registration process.
