With fourteen years of diverse experience in Education and Early Years practice, I’ve had the privilege of working in various roles, including senior positions in nursery work, private nannying, and classroom-based settings. Each opportunity has allowed me to refine my teaching and nannying style.
My approach is centred on fostering a lifelong passion for inquisitive learning, empowering children to reach their full potential. Through leading by example and maintaining a professional and can-do attitude, I encourage children of all ages to become independent learners, effective communicators, and critical thinkers. Above all, I believe in making the learning process enjoyable. Whether it's guiding babies through sensory exploration or challenging older learners to recognise their roles as global citizens, my ultimate goal is to provide a safe and stimulating environment that encourages physical and mental exploration.
I am well-versed in the EYFS curriculum and strive to create a balanced learning environment that embraces a holistic approach. I believe in allowing children to learn through their own experiences and at their own pace. Establishing strong bonds and fostering trust with both children and their families is of utmost importance to me.
While I am confident in my ability to work independently, I also value the significance of working within a team. I have experience in sole and shared-charge nanny roles, in both formal and informal households, caring for children aged 9 months to 5 years. Additionally, I have managed busy classrooms and prepared students for Cambridge English exams.
