I am an Ofsted graded OUTSTANDING childminder who has over 18 years of experience in childcare. I am a non smoker and have a clear driving licence. I have experience with all ages from newborn -16 years.
I am extremely enthusiastic in my work and have great communication skills. I believe partnership with parents is very important and a child's childhood should be filled with happiness. I am very passionate in my work in childcare and acknowledge each child's individual needs.
We take daily trips around our local community, to playgroups, playgrounds and parks, as well as many other places of interest. I focus highly on each childs individual needs and use their interests to support their learning and play. I have various qualifications, including a diploma in childcare and education, an apprenticeshipin management and team leading, with an up to date first aid and safeguarding certificates.

My Experience
I have had experience with all ages of children from newborn to 16 years. During my training I worked at a number of settings which specialised in certain ages. Such as baby rooms to pre-school nurseries. I also had experience in primary schools in classrooms and have worked in a youth club for 8-16 year olds for around 3 years. I previously was a nanny for four separate families caring for ages between 5 months-4 years. My role included school runs, preparing healthy meals, supporting and encouraging school/homework and organising various activities and play dates.
Before that I was a room leader for a preschool and then got promoted and became a deputy manager for a provate nursery. While being a deputy manager at a nursery I gained alot of knowledge and experience based on the EYFS and what is expected to run a successful setting for the Early Years and what is required by Ofsted. Being a deputy manager I was able to support other staff members who were nursery nurses with my experience and knowledge providing a top class care for all children.
I started working in childcare while I was in secondary school and college doing volunteering work for Saturday art classes for children. I have great experience working with big groups of children and catering to their individual needs and also have spent time babysitting with individual Children.
My Qualifications
I have successfully completed level 1,2 and 3 in Childcare and Education. Aswell as health and social care at GCSE grade. I completed an apprenticeship in team leading and management which supported me in helping to manage a nursery. I am always looking out for opportunities to take refreshment and further knowledge courses about childcare. I have an up to date safeguarding and epi-pen training. I have had a recent first aid training and food safety. I have also attended courses based on how to support child development and activities to support this.
My Availability
I am available through Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8am-6pm. Short days are availble for 8am-3pm. Please do ask for flexible hours!
I provide schools drop off and collections for at Warren Wood Primary Academy.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
•£2.50 for before school
•£40 for 8am-3pm
•£50 for 8am-6pm
