Hello, my name is Maggie, and I have been a dedicated childminder for 27 years. For the past 26 years, I have been Quality Assured, consistently maintaining the highest standards of care, learning and development.

A Nurturing Environment Focused on Emotional Wellbeing
Supporting children’s emotional development is at the heart of everything I do. I help children learn to understand their feelings, build confidence, develop resilience and form secure attachments. We talk about emotions daily, model kindness and respect, and create a safe space where every child feels valued, listened to and understood.

We regularly go out on enriching trips, including visits to local zoos, parks and community settings, helping children explore the world around them in a safe and meaningful way. These real-life experiences bring our learning themes to life and create wonderful memories.
My home is a warm, happy and stimulating environment where children thrive, grow in confidence and genuinely enjoy their early years.

I am a Quality Assured, Ofsted-inspected childcare provider registered under Ealing Council. With over 33 years of experience as a parent myself, I bring warmth, understanding and real-life knowledge into my setting every single day.

I only mind pre school children
i have a full time place and 2 part time places. .
My Fees
- Childminding from £9.00 per hour
Full-time: £90 per day
Part-time: £10 per hour
Please note: I do not offer school or nursery drop-offs or collections.
I provide a nurturing, home-from-home environment where children enjoy exciting, hands-on learning experiences. Our days are filled with adventure — from trips to zoos, theme parks and the seaside, to local parks and playgroups — giving children wonderful opportunities to explore, socialise and build confidence.
Every day is fun, engaging and full of learning through play.

We want to say a big thank you for the amazing care Maggie has given our daughter, Arya. Since she started with Maggie at 10 months old, she has come on so well and is now a happy, confident 20-month-old.
Maggie creates a safe, caring and fun environment, and we’ve loved seeing our daughter reach so many milestones with her. She took her first steps while in Maggie’s care, her speech has really improved, and she’s even starting to show interest in potty training by watching the older children.
We also really appreciate the effort Maggie puts into activities and themes. We especially enjoyed the heritage theme, and it was lovely to see Maggie buy Peppa Pig toys because she knows how much Arya loves them. It shows how well she knows the children and how much she cares.
Maggie is professional, reliable and keeps us updated, which gives us complete peace of mind. Arya is always happy and settled with her.
We’re very grateful for everything Maggie has done for us and would happily recommend her to any family looking for a caring and dedicated childminder.

I carefully considered childminders for my daughter and feel very lucky to have found an absolute gem in Maggie. She is caring, considerate, encouraging, nurturing, attentive, creative, full of fun and energy, genuine and the list could go on and on again some more. She handles situations with sensitivity, understanding and humour. My daughter absolutely loves her days with Maggie. I have the upmost trust in Maggie and her amazing abilities to care for my daughter's wellbeing. Thank you for all you do for us Maggie. The world needs more Maggies and ours is a better one with her in it.

As working, first time parents, we were nervous putting our 4-5 month old daughter into the hands of a childminder. However, the moment we saw Maggie, our daughter took to her instantly! We were impressed by the cleanliness of her place, her high energy, and dedication into giving these young stars a nurturing and loving environment. As teachers we were also delighted to see her following the EYFS curriculum. She plans activities and day trips that are super engaging and fun. Our daughter has come along way in terms of her fine motor skills. Our daughter is now 19+ months and no doubt because of the array of activities, her speech and acquisition of vocabulary has come a long way.
She offers advice and works with parents in terms of what will make our children thrive. During a busy workday it's a delight seeing a burst of photographs of what our little one is doing at Maggie's! Our daughter always looks happy showing just much she is enjoying herself. Also from the photos, we can see that Maggie capitalises on social interaction and teaches our children the importance of sharing and empathy.
Maggie is an excellent childminder and any child would be lucky to have her in their lives!

Our daughter started in Aug 2022 when she was 12 month old. It just felt right when we visited Maggie’s place. She worked based on our preferences and confidence levels, from onboarding our daughter to sleeping patterns and from baby led weaning and ditching the dummy to potty training. Our daughter had an injury whilst we were on holidays and Maggie was able to support her recovery plan completely, keeping us informed at every stage.
Our daughter looks forward to joining Maggie every morning and she is disappointed when she doesn’t get to go! She loves the thematic months ranging from books to seasons and holidays. Maggie always arranges adventures outdoors, visiting parks, the zoo, play dates and even theatre! Our daughter is bilingual and her speech is great for her age in both languages when we don’t speak any English to her at home. Maggie keeps us updated with regular photos throughout the week through WhatsApp and she is always contactable. We really feel that Maggie is part of our family!

Where to begin...
Maggie from day one has been fantastic towards our daughter Sofia! Settling in was not a rush or pushy she took it as what Sofia needed not what 'majority' follow. She reassured us on WhatsApp with regular photos and messages with her progress and still almost 2 years later she is still doing the same for us :) She plans FANTASTIC days out which really make Sofia happy and always always has something fun planned weather its arts and crafts, playing with the enormous amounts of toys she has, musical instruments it's never a boring day with Maggie and her minded children if the photos and updates weren't enough Sofia has never once come home crying or upset about her day with Maggie! She's filled with love routine manners entertainment and an all round safe environment for the days she is with her! Maggie plans themes which she does with the kids and has introduced Sofia to so many new things, books, skills and language than we could ever provide for Sofia with her just being at home, she has learnt to socialise with other kids and she had a massive problem with sharing it was something that was no negotiable for her but Maggie helped her through all of that and she shares everything now even with other kids she doesn't know in the park! Truly amazing what Maggie has done for her and I don't say thank you enough to her because she absolutely deserves it! Potty training as well Maggie advised us loads on tips and tricks and followed Sofias lead and it didn't take long at all when she finally got the hang of it they practise pulling up trousers too and wiping properly. She makes great meals for the kids and her snacks are all healthy snacks. She's very open and kind and you can talk to her about just anything - you can tell she loves her job by the sheer amount that goes into her day to day all the planning and prepping. She always has time for parents at drop off and pick up and does respond to messages after hours and weekends if you ever need anything from her! Sofia loves her to pieces and really feels at home with her to the point she doesn't even look back when I drop her off in the mornings - if you are looking for a childminder then don't look any further because Maggie is your woman! I could write so much more about her because she's amazing so just message her if you are looking and you won't ever look back! Xxx

From the moment we entrusted our precious Alex to Maggie, we knew she would be the perfect choice. Even though we had our difficulties and our schedule didn’t match Maggie’s requirements, fate eventually made it happen. Maggie was kind enough to keep in touch with me and after a series of problems with another childminder, she made some arrangements and took Alex on board. Since Alex was 9 months old, Maggie has provided nothing short of exceptional care. Every day, we see Alex's smiling face and energy.
Maggie's exceptional organizational skills shine through as she meticulously plans activities weeks ahead, ensuring a varied and enriching experience for the children. Her understanding and accommodating nature make her an invaluable asset, especially for families with full-time commitments. Maggie's flexibility is a lifesaver, effortlessly adapting to our ever-changing schedules. She consistently goes the extra mile, demonstrating her unwavering dedication to our family's well-being, for which we are immensely grateful.
Moreover, Maggie's proactive approach extends to the digital realm, where her WhatsApp group serves as a delightful window into the day-to-day adventures of our little ones. Her regular updates and shared photos bring joy and reassurance, allowing us to stay connected and involved in our child's journey.

Our daughter started with Maggie in Jan ‘22 when she was 18 months old and took to Maggie immediately, like kindred spirits! She literally ran in and closed the door on me, I was definitely more upset than she was. I’ll never forget the first day she came home, new words, excited, full of energy.
Maggie is organised and plans activities weeks in advance, she is very understanding, accommodating and was super mindful and caring for my daughters eczema which was quite bad when she was younger. I always look forward to the photos and updates Maggie sends during the day.
Maggie has been nothing short of amazing, she has been there for our family and is such a positive role model to our daughter. We are so thankful to have her! We can’t recommend Maggie highly enough and cant wait for my younger daughter to start with her next year!

Our daughter started with Maggie in Jan 2020, she was 13 months old. Initially she found it tough but Maggie was really patient and understanding. She completely let our daughter lead with what she was comfortable with and within a couple of weeks we had no more tears and just smiles as she saw Maggie in the morning which was a huge relief for us.
Maggie is just fantastic and I would highly recommend.
She is so flexible which helps so much when you work full time. Nothing is too much trouble and Maggie often goes above and beyond for us as a family and we are extremely grateful.
Our daughter adores Maggie and the environment she has created for all the kids is amazing they feel part of her family.
The WhatsApp group that we have is brilliant as Maggie regularly shares pictures of what she is up too which is lovely for us.
Maggie is really organised and plans her weeks well. They are always out doing activities & learning different things each day.
Honestly, we will be forever grateful for finding Maggie. As a first time mum, I myself found it tough & daunting going back to work and having to find childcare but Maggie just made it so easy for all of us and everyday I go to work knowing my daughter is happy & content at Maggie’s.

Our daughter started at Maggie's at 10 months old in June 2018 and has had a fantastic time ever since. From the first visit Maggie was kind and patient and took the time to go through everything we wanted to know before we committed and we walked out of that visit excited for her to start caring for our daughter. Settling in was thorough and guided by the child but very quickly we were confident to leave her for a full day even with tears at drop off we would get pictures and messages moments later showing her happily having breakfast with the others. Maggie has been amazingly flexible which has been a godsend with my work. She has also been incredibly supportive with our parenting choices including taking on cloth nappies for our daughter without a second thought. She provides regular updates during the day of pictures of lovely activities both at home and trips out. I have recommended Maggie to every parent who has asked about childcare and will continue to send my daughter there as long as possible.

Our daughter Aurora started going to Maggie in December 2018. She was 13 months old.
When we first went to visit Maggie both Simon and myself knew straight away Maggie was the best choice for Aurora. She was very welcoming and nothing was left unturned. We were shown around her beautiful home and made comfortable to be able to ask any questions.
During Aurora’s time with Maggie we have noticed a huge leap in her development and social skills. Her confidence around other adults and children has soared and we have noticed her being much more independent.
Maggie is constantly teaching our daughter new songs, rhymes and words, this has helped with her speech development and she is now using more words than average for her age and even beginning to form short sentences.
Aurora’s days with Maggie are structured and fun. Maggie ensures that Aurora is stimulated mentally and physically by taking her out to farms, parks, soft play and much more. She also has incredible themed weeks to teach the children in dept about certain topics. Recent themes have been - Chinese New Year and People who help us in the community. The children are given the option to dress up and experience fun, hands on learning.
Maggie has a whatsapp group with myself and Aurora’s father where we receive regular daily updates and photos. This gives us peace of mind Aurora is happy and looked after to a very high standard.
We hope to send Aurora to Maggie until she will start further school education. Maggie has now became part of our family. Aurora loves her dearly and we trust her completely.
