Kay looked after our little boy 2 days a week from the age of 9 months to 2. We were really sad to move him on, but a change in jobs meant a change in childcare for us. Kay gave our son a range of amazing experiences - regular trips to childminding groups, soft play centres, garden centres at Christmas to see the lights and displays, visits to local museums and centres to see trains, outdoor activities including parks, Westonbirt and visits to see animals. They also did loads of crafts together and we loved seeing his new creations each week! Kay's house provides a brilliant base for her and the children. The set up is great with plenty of toys and a lovely garden with loads of outdoor toys and ride on vehicles. Kay's approach was prefect for us and our son - she is warm and friendly, but also fair and does not stand for nonsense! Kay's experience also helped as as first-time parents not familiar with childcare routines and set-up - she has everything the children need and was really helpful in advising us what to provide.

We loved reading the detailed daily reports from Kay and it was always really helpful to know how much had been eaten, how much sleep had been had, nappies etc - especially for the parent not on pick up that day. Kay was brilliant at sending regular photos and recently moved to an online journal which meant we could share updates with family and friends too. Kay was always really flexible with our needs and helped to support us with additional hours when we needed them.

Our son loved his time with Kay and was always really happy to be dropped off and start his day at her house. I would highly recommend Kay to anyone looking for a childminder and feel really really lucky that we found her!
