About Us

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child/children to visit us at the The Little Village Nursery.

The 42 place Nursery opened in 1995 and offers facilities for children between the ages of 0 months to eight years, plus after school care. A collection service to and from the local primary school Ansdell Primary is now available. Please speak to a senior member of staff for further information.

Our aim is to provide a warm, friendly environment where the children feel safe and secure and are stimulated to develop skills and increase confidence and self-esteem. This will enable each child to make the transition to formal education more easily.We aim to offer a high quality friendly service.

The nursery staff are all fully qualified and attend regular training courses to develop themselves and enable the nursery environment to remain varied and exciting for the children.

The nursery manager is qualified to Level 3.

The nursery offers a free flow daily routine enabling the children to play inside or outside depending on what they wish.

The local amenities allow trips to the beach, the woods, the library, the park and also educational visits within the community such as the local church during harvest festival etc.
The nursery follows the EYFS framework.
