About Me

I am a native English non-smoking nanny aged 38. I am based in London and I have 20 years experience with children aged between 3 months to 11 years. (I do not drive).

My previous experience includes:
- Private nurseries
- School nursery
- Reception classes - teaching reading, writing, phonics, math etc, monitoring development, carrying out parents evenings and writing reports / progress report / special books..
- Managing an after school club & the staff at the school.
- Nanny position with 2 children aged 3 & 7
- Nanny position with 1 girl from 10 months - 4 years old
- Nanny position with 2 children aged 1 & 3, from 7 months old.

Now:
I am currently employed as a full time, sole charge nanny in Walthamstow.
I work with 2 children who are 2 & 6 years old.

I am looking for a new position as a sole charge nanny, ideally 4-5 days per week from September.

The school I previously worked in was an outstanding primary academy and standards were very high, I feel this is reflected in the way I work as a nanny. I have sound knowledge of the EYFS and can prepare children for school when the time is right.

I pride myself on helping parents to raise a well rounded, polite and kind child who is confident and has been given a stimulating learning environment to reach their developmental milestones. I have experience with toilet training, sleep training and and baby led weaning. However I am happy to follow parents wishes in regard to those subjects.

I have a childcare and education qualification and a diploma in social work and community work. As well as training in teaching children to read and write. Other qualifications are detailed on my CV.
