About Me
HI, I'm Sarah Simpson. I have been a registered childminder since 2008. I offer a relaxed home from home environment where children love to come and play with a wide range of toys and activities to keep their little minds busy.
I have a son - 20 years old who works as a PE teacher. He’s also studying PT and nutrition. We also have a dog, Marly, who is 10 years old.
We enjoy being outdoors, playing in the woods, nature trails or in one of the many parks Wokingham and surrounding areas have to offer.

My Experience
I have experience with children from birth through to age 16. I have worked part time at Chestnuts pre-school as a senior session coordinator, where I key worked 10 children. This role gave me valuable experience within the EYFS (early years foundation stage) framework and I was able to plan activities alongside the child's learning development.
I also worked part time at the Hawthorns after school club as a play worker and with Energy Kidz as a holiday club manager at The Coombes School.
My Qualifications
I have achieved an NVQ level 3 in CCLD
(childcare learning & development) in 2011.
Paediatric First Aid course.
I have done various training courses including Observation & Assessment.
Ofsted rating of 'GOOD' in November 2013.
Ofsted rating of 'GOOD' in December 2016.
Ofsted rating of ‘GOOD’ in October 2022.
My Availability
Monday:
2 spaces - 7.30-5.30
Tuesday:
1 space - 7.30-9 & 3.30-5.30
Wednesday:
2 spaces - 7.30-3
Thursday:
1 space - 7.30-3
I am also available for inset days and school holidays.
