Hello, my name is Katie, I am a 35 year old OFSTED registered nanny, with over 17 years experience in caring for children from newborn to 14 years.
I am currently looking for work either part or full time as a Nanny.
I am a caring and reliable person who adores children and working with families. I enjoy being creative and providing children with stimulating activities. I like to promote children's independence whilst supporting them and caring for their needs. As well as caring for children I am able to provide healthy home cooked meals, keep a clean and tidy home and run errands, including but not limited to; grocery shopping, caring for pets, dog walking, school runs and extra curricular activities. So that you can arrive home to happy well fed children and a clean and relaxed home.
I am currently looking to start with a new family In March or April.
I am also available for evening and weekend babysitting, weddings & events.
Unfortunatley nannies are unable to accept any funded hours but as i am OFSTED Registered i can accept tax free child care. I work on an Employed basis.

I hold a BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development.
My career has always revolved around caring for children, from babysitting to working in schools and nurseries. I have enjoyed working for many different families as a nanny caring for children from new born to 14 years.
I have experience in sleep training and potty training, helping you to establish and maintain a routine in your home whilst promoting the child's independence.

Katie has been an incredible support to our family. She has cared for my twins, both of whom have additional needs, with genuine patience, calmness and understanding. She is naturally warm and friendly, builds trust quickly, and is brilliant at engaging my daughter through creative play ideas and gentle, thoughtful approaches that really help her connect and participate.
Katie is also very reliable — always punctual, communicative, and professional. She keeps me updated clearly and consistently, and she’s been really helpful in supporting observations for Community Paediatrics, particularly around sleep, routines and how the twins present day-to-day.
Katie has been a steady, positive presence in our home and I would highly recommend her to any family, especially those needing someone confident, kind and capable with children who have additional needs.

Katie has been collecting my daughter and her friend from school since October, bringing them home to our house and giving them dinner / looking after them until we get home from work. The girls love Katie and she is great. Highly recommend.

Katie is equally brilliant with parents and children. She communicates clearly, is professional and is keen to go the extra mile. The kids love her, too. From creating fun games to ensuring they do the things they need to do, Katie is attentive and makes it enjoyable. We’re really pleased with her as our nanny including doing pick ups, cooking meals and cleaning.
