About Me
Opened in 2013 by Lyndsey McGeachy, Kideos Childcare has been providing professional, high quality care from birth to 12 years in a stimulating and caring environment. The building contains dedicated modern spacious rooms which have a very solid and secure feel that some places lack. We also have a rear unit in the back that will eventually be a sensory room.
We offer 3 different facilities under one roof...
(Day Care)
For complete care and education from 0 to 12 years.
(Out of School)
Before and after school care, supervised activities, homework and fun for primary school children.
(School Holiday Care)
An exciting "club" where school age children can enjoy endless fun during all school holiday.
We have street parking at the front or if you like you can park on the street behind and walk down the path which is located to the side of Kideos. At the rear of the property is a large fenced off garden area which has an extensive range of outdoor play equipment so the children can be encouraged to use physical development and interact with others.
Security at Kideos is high priority with CCTV all around the building 24 hours per day and a strict access policy for parents, carers and staff.

My Fees
- Childminding from £10.00 per hour
We do our fees on a daily basis, weekly basis or hourly basis, This depends on the sessions required and your personal circumstances.
We offer full day care' sessional care and holiday care is also available Bradford/Leeds Education.

We were recommended Kideos Childcare, and we love Linzi & Michelle! They are so friendly, professional and accommodating! We came to Kideos after a bad experience with another childminder, and my little boy settled in immediately and felt at home. Linzi is helpful and very knowledgeable and both her, and Michelle, are a wonderful influence on the children! Highly recommend!

My little girl has been attending Kideos since she was 10 months old and I truly could not wish for better people to care for my daughter. I say people as they are much more than just childminders, Linzi & Michelle do love the children they look after, as though they were their own. My daughter has been thriving for the past just over 12 months of being there and a lot of this is down to the love, attention and patience they give. From the minute I stepped foot in their homely setting, when pregnant, I had an instant warm feeling, and I know from how happy my daughter is here, that she feels the same. The activities, train rides out, libraries, lunches out, play centres and the small but special things like a Costa or supermarket trip, I know her days here are made the most of.
I couldn’t recommend enough and feel lucky that my little girl is a part of this little family, she has made so many friends in all of you, and we are so grateful!

I have known Linzi and Michelle for just short of 4 years now as both of my boys have been in their care and I honestly couldn’t fault anything.
The way my son’s have excelled in her care has been amazing and they always enjoy their time with her. From trips to the local museums and farms to even on a more personal level going to local cafe/costa for a baby hot chocolate! She is truly fantastic.
I would never let me babies go anywhere else :) it is like home from home and that’s what I love. Forever grateful.

You will not find a more loving, caring and nurturing environment for your child. The setting is exceptional. You can be confident your child is in the best hands. My son has developed so much in their care. They do so much with the children from trips to the library and museums to arts and crafts to guided fun, educational activites . They always go above and beyond for all the children in their care and parents alike. As a first time mum their advice and support has remained a lifeline and I will forever be grateful for them. If you want a care setting that places importance on every aspect of care including good food, learning, fun, experiences, love, kindness and everything in-between you genuinely will not find better

Hi everyone I just want to worn you. I was writing to this lady for a month, she promised me place. We book visit to have a look around and day before that she told me that someone else was there before me and took my place. Now I need to start looking again from begging. Absolutely unbelievable..!!!

Unfortunately we cannot leave open a space based on promises of you getting a job! Also you did not know what sessions you required until you secured said job! this wouldn’t benefit Kideos or you, this is because we only had certain availability on sessions and by the time you gained employment our availability may or may not have been suitable for you. Here at Kideos we work on a first come first serve basis whereby whoever leaves a deposit and signs the contract fills the place. You did arrange a viewing however as explained we did have viewings before you! We did also explain that we also have a waiting list that you were able to join and when you found out what sessions you needed we could find a solution for you.
You first contacted kideos on the 06.01.23 with enquiries which were answered all the way up to the 17.01.23 which by that time several viewings had taken place and unfortunately the available space was taken straight away with a signed contract and full deposit. I informed you of this and invited you again to join our waiting list.

That's so unfair. It's unbelievable. She was first so she took place? If I was first to visit you then you would give place to me?? Unbelievable you are. I don't want your waiting list !! Goodbye!!!!
Unfortunately the only paddying we tolerate is from our lovely children at Kideos that we are trained professionally to deal with and not Adults that do not get their own way. Sorry!!!
You state you wrote to me for a month in your glowing review however I count 11 days from 06.01.23 the last being 17.01.23…. Mistakes happen I suppose but never mind it’s ok.

Apart from Communication I find it really difficult to understand why you would go out of your way to try and deface my business just because I did not play to your tune! You have never stepped foot near kideos in order to rate me on these topics. Communication was excellent until you were told the place had gone!
I’m not sure what is going on in your life but clearly we got some end of that stick but just so you know we forgive you as our setting will continue to flourish as it has done for years.
Our door is alway open to you Paulina if you ever need any advice regarding anything that may be troubling you. We will try and help.

My daughter has been coming to Kideos for 2 years now, since she was 1. She has learnt so much from these three ladies. Although they are childminders, Linzi has turned the bottom of her house into a nursery and it is amazing. It is always spotless, they are always doing activities and going out on adventures and always having fun. They are so caring and genuinely love the kids they look after. I wouldn't recommend anyone else to look after children other than Kideos.
My older children have also been to Kideos and they loved it. Kideo's have offered so much support and help with my son who has SEN.
They are not just there for the children but also the parents too. I am forever grateful that these ladies look after my child and they will always be my friends even after my daughter goes to school.

My little boy started here in September 2019 at 10 months old. The transition process was fantastic and, as, my son was a bit distressed by the whole idea of being left by mummy at first, we were offered extra 'getting to know you' sessions at no extra cost. He now loves Kideos and all the team there. It is not like other childminders I've heard about. The setting is packed with resources and they spend lots of time making and exploring. Linzi, who leads the team, is caring, professional, flexible, and, most importantly, loves kids and is brilliant with them. Little touches like a craft activity and a chocolate bunny left on our doorstep during the Covid 19 lock down sum up the kind and thoughtful nature of Kideos. We feel extremely lucky that we picked this place and can't recommend Kideos highly enough.

Came across Kideos as my mum needed an operation and I wouldnt have childcare for 8 weeks. Kideos is fantastic, my daughter was 20 months old when she started and has come on leaps and bounds with being with Lyndsey and her team. Her speech, attitude and confidence grew when she started. She loves going and still goes now before school and in the school holidays. The service is fantastic, friendly, caring and yet professional in all aspects. Like I say couldn't ask for anyone better to look after my daughter she loves going

My son absolutely loves going. He can't wait to shut the door on me when I leave him. Very professional. Lyndsey has alot of knowledge on parenting which has helped me out alot. Very understanding and helpful. Very homely and friendly.
