Amazing!

My daughter has been with Victoria since September and loves it there. The hours work perfect for us. The digital portal is very handy as I am able to see what’s happening throughout the day. She’s very close to the train station so it doesn’t affect my commute to work. Her members of staff are very warm and welcoming too. I would definitely recommend her!

Couldn’t be happier

My son has been attending this setting since September 2018, we chose this setting as the children all looked happy and well taken care of.

My son always looks forward to going to small people and staff are equally as excited to receive him. Victoria and co are warm, friendly, supportive and professional my son has thrived in their setting.

I’ve recommended small people to local parents looking for childcare in the area and this setting definitely comes with high recommendations.

Absolutely heartbroken

Our son has been attending Victoria’s setting since January 2018, unfortunately due to us moving further away we have had to make an extremely difficult decision to move him (I did ask Victoria to move to closer to us but alas she said no).

He’s been extremely happy at Small People couldn’t have asked for a better place for him to start off at - it must be said we have been ridiculously spoilt and I’m finding it hard to come to terms that we have to say goodbye.

Victoria was a life saver, willing to help out with a short term childcare need we had after being left in the lurch by our old provider. Our daughter settled very quickly and our original 3 week need for childcare turned permanent. She’s been super flexible in accommodating early mornings, late evenings and last minute needs for additional childcare. Our daughter loves Victoria and we’ve been comforted by the lovely bond she has with Victoria and encouraged by our daughter’s development while with Victoria.

A lovely, attentive childminder

Victoria looked after my daughter full-time from when she was 10 months old until she started pre-school at the age of 3. From my very first day in her home I found her warm, engaging, attentive and more importantly caring. Going back to work after having my first child was made tremendously easier due to the care and attention delivered by Victoria. I genuinely, felt and know that she cared about the wellbeing of my daughter which meant that I never worried for a second when she was in her care. The bond between her and my daughter is lovely and when she is not at Victoria’s house she is often asking to go and see ‘Tora’.

We always had an open line of communication with Victoria and felt like any developmental stages that my daughter was going through were ones that we were tackling together. Her setting is warm and inviting with plenty of activities and a back garden where the kids can do a variety of activities including gardening, the paddling pool and using playground equipment. Victoria offers a wonderful “home from home” setting and one I highly recommend.

Ideal care for our son.

Victoria looked after our son for nearly 2 years from when he'd just turned one. It was an ideal setting for a little one. We particularly appreciated the home from home environment, including activities in the garden. Victoria was very good at understanding the needs of the different children in her care and was attentive to our son's particular preferences and behaviour.

Victoria is a caring individual and we were a bit bereft when we decided our son would go to a nursery full time! We miss the personal approach, Victoria's flexibility and her dedication to keeping us up-to-date on what our son got up to.

Wonderful childcare

I was recommended to Victoria by a friend and couldn't be happier with the childcare provided. My daughter started there when she was 11 months old (she's now 18 months) and she settled in incredibly quickly. I'm sure that this was due to the warm and loving environment that Victoria creates, where the children feel safe and well cared for. It made my transition back to work so much easier knowing that she was in good hands. I love knowing that she is spending her day with friends doing varied and fun activities in a lovely homely environment, and that she is eating lots of tasty home cooked food. When I drop her off she reaches for Victoria for a hug then trots off happily into the house, so I know that she feels secure and happy there. Victoria's communication is excellent, and her prices are extremely reasonable. She has been understanding and flexible when I've been held up at work. I would recommend her without hesitation.
