My Summary

My Experience

When I finished my GCSE’s I went on to Sixth Form to study my A Levels in Level 3 Child Care and Education for 2 years, which I passed with an A. During this time it was compulsory for me to spend a term at a Work Placement, these were at nurseries, children centres and Primary Schools in and around Southend. Altogether I went to a total of 5 placements and worked with children from 0-8 years old.

I then went to college for an additional 2 years and studied Level 3 Health and Social Care, which I passed with AA*A*. During this time I had to complete more work placements, these were varied and mainly in day centres for adults with learning disabilities, however I did do a placement in a primary school working 1:1 with a little boy with cerebral palsy.

At 21 I went to University to study my BaHons Degree in Special Educational Studies. I was here for a year and a half before leaving due to mental health problems. Again, I completed a work placement while studying and this was in a Primary School in Southend where I worked in a year 3 classroom, specifically with those who needed extra support.

After leaving university I got a part time job at Tesco which I worked for a year before picking up another part time job as a Midday Assistant in a primary school in Southend. After a year of working these two part time jobs I managed to pick up enough extra hours, from working breakfast club and after school club at the school, to drop tesco. I have now worked at the school for 3 years and have recently worked a temporary Learning Support Assistant Role where I worked with those who needed help catching up. During my time here I have been able to work with children of all ages, from 4 to 11 years old.

My Qualifications

CACHE Level 3 Award Certificate and Diploma in Child Care and Education.
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care.

I am also First Aid trained.

My Availability

As it is now the summer holidays I am available anytime, any day. Ideally I would not work weekends but would be happy to for a couple of hours.

In September when school starts again I will be back at work therefore I am limited to times I can work.

I will be working;
• 7:30am - 9am (Monday - Friday)
• 11:30am - 1pm (Monday - Friday)
• 3pm - 5pm (Monday - Thursday)

So I could do local jobs between the times I am needed at work, but otherwise would need to after 5pm Monday-Thursday and after 1pm on Fridays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £7.00 per hour

Prices vary depending on time.
