About Me
I have been a registered childminder for over 30 years. I am married to Glyn and have two sons aged 28 and 26. I live in Dalgety Bay. I offer a home from home environment and treat the childminding children as part of the family. I have a dog called Minx, who is a Jack Russell/Whippet and has grown up with children.
I have an enclosed back garden for the children to play in. I attend the local toddler group as well as Mucky Pups in Aberdour as well as Bookbugs. I regularly take the children in my care to the library and local parks and beach.
I encourage my children to get as much fresh air as possible. I almost always walk to and from school. I drop off and collect from Donibristle Primary School and will also drop off and pick up at Donibristle Nursery,
My Experience
I have looked after children from the age of 4 months to 15 years.
My Qualifications
I have a Baby and Child First Aid Certificate and have attended courses on Child Protection, Anaphylaxis Awareness and Meningitis Awareness. I am also registered with Fife Environmental Service as a safe food business and also have an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate. I have an SVQ3 in Childcare and am registered with Fife Council to take children for 1140 funded hours
