My 2.5 year old son has been at Sarah’s since Summer 2018. As a first time mum, I was incredibly nervous about leaving him when I went back to work, and looked at lots of different options. Sarah’s calm, clean, beautiful setting immediately impressed me and I’m so thankful we found her! She was absolutely brilliant at helping him to settle in, which he did very quickly. Her communication is superb and it is so reassuring to know that he is not only in safe hands, but is having a fantastic time! Receiving a photo of him always brightened up my day. We get a detailed diary every week and a daily update at pick up time. She has never been anything less than helpful. I was once stuck in standstill traffic on the motorway with low battery on my phone and panicking about getting to pick up my son - Sarah was so calm and reassuring; a total contrast to other settings who charge extra for every 5 minutes of lateness!
The children do a mix of arts, crafts, singing, dancing, number skills, reading and playing outside. It has helped our son’s social skills hugely. He used to be quite shy and reserved, but has really developed since being at Sarah’s and now is an absolute chatterbox. He even had his first French lessons at Sarah’s and adores his little teddy Bonbon.
Sarah cooks lovely healthy meals for the children every day and is brilliant about making sure picky eaters have a balanced diet whilst still enjoying their food. Our son has always eaten and slept very well at her house - better than at home!
It is with great sadness that we move on due to a change at my work. We highly recommend Sarah and our son will miss her and all his little friends enormously.

There is nothing as important as choosing the person who will help you raise your precious baby - especially your first born - and i really wanted someone who would approach childcare with the same style and values as he would get at home. A year later i have a brilliant, outgoing, well mannered, sweet little boy and i'm under no illusion that this is in no small part thanks to the love and care he has received from Sarah and her assistant, Barbara.
Sarah's space is minimal - rather than distracting kids with a whole lot of plastic toys, they actually spend quality time focusing on specific toys, tasks, and activities - and they spend a lot of time outside in the back yard.
I love that Sarah can have up to 6 children as it creates a mini nursery environment where the kids are less limited as to who they socialise with whilst also allowing Sarah and Barbara to really get to know the kids, their likes, dislikes and spend quality time and attention on each and every one of them.
They focus on teaching 'sharing' and 'manners' and positive socialising rather than teaching 'no' which creates a calm and friendly space where the kids really do enjoy each others company and at every stage of our sons development, they have really focused on progressing his skills through structured activities.
At the crux of it, Sarah is a highly educated ex-professional and just straight up normal person who truly knows my son and he is really going to miss her, Barbara and his other besties.
We are all going to miss her - though i still have her number and will no doubt be using it!

My one-year old son has been looked after by Sarah and her assistant for the last few months. We are delighted with the care he has received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to other families looking for a childminder. Thank you, Sarah!

Sarah has looked after our 2.5 year old son since March 2017, and we could not be happier with the care that both she and her assistant have provided. The house is a lovely environment for the children, and our son goes in happily in the mornings, and always greets us with a beaming smile when we pick him up.
The daily diary that we get by email is fantastic, it is great knowing what he has been doing with his friends, whether it is playing in the garden, story time or crafts. They do a great variety of activities and we love getting the pictures of what he is up to during the day. It is also very useful knowing what he has eaten, the children are offered a good variety of food, and Sarah has been very accommodating with my very fussy eater.
We are very grateful to Sarah for the care and attention that has been given to our little boy while he has been with her, he has thrived in her care, and it has made it significantly easier to leave him in the mornings knowing that he is in good hands and enjoys his time there.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Sarah as a childminder, we are very sad to be leaving and will miss her!

Sarah had my boy two days a week from when he was 8 1/2 months old and because he was young (and my first) I was very nervous about leaving him. I needn’t have been.
Sarah offers a very caring and safe environment for the little people she’s responsible for. Her house is beautiful, clean and well-equipped, her meals are varied and nutritious and her assistants have always been extremely attentive and fun.
I can honestly write that I would not have had the confidence to return to work if it hadn’t been for the reassurance that Sarah afforded me.
I therefore have no hesitation in recommending Sarah to anyone in need of a childminder.

Sarah offers a very playful and comfortable home environment for the children. There's lots of activities that take place from baking, playing in the garden, walks in the fresh air to the park, painting and drawing, with lots of toys for the children to choose to play with. There's also Guinea pigs that the children love. Sarah is very relaxed, caring and in control of the children and regularly communicates what's been going on in the day and what's been eaten at meal times. All the food is freshly prepared and they are offered plenty of healthy and delicious foods, as well as the popular fish fingers! If you are looking for a friendly, caring home environment I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sarah.

Sarah has looked after my 3 year old son since July 2014 and my 22 month old son since October 2015.
Both of my boys look forward to their "Sarah days" enormously and definitely see her house (and family!) as an extension of their own - often in the morning they have kicked their shoes off and disappeared inside before you have a chance to say goodbye!
Sarah quickly got to know each of my children, their quirks and what makes them tick and has provided them with a safe, happy, family environment.
Sarah (and her assistants Brendan and Angie) provide a wide variety of activities throughout the day including time in the garden, arts and crafts, cooking, story time, guinea pig feeding and lots of play!
I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah and her team.

Sarah looked after my son for just over a year. The only reason we are no longer with Sarah is because we are relocating to Norfolk but if I could take her with me I would!
Sarah offers a home from home environment for the children she looks after, I was extremely nervous about leaving my son to go back to work (as I'm sure all mothers are!) I didn't really know what I was looking for when I started my search for a childcare provider but after visiting a few childminders I wondered if I was ever going to find someone I felt comfortable enough to leave my son with, then I met Sarah. I felt comfortable as soon as I walked through the door and knew that it would be right for my son.
I love that Sarah takes care of a range of children of varying ages so I felt my son had good interaction like in a nursery setting but on a smaller, more intimate scale. The care taken to integrate my son when he first started was dealt with so professionally and yet personally which made me feel much better about leaving him.
Sarah offers a great range of fun activities for the children and I loved receiving the updates each day of what they had done and eaten throughout the day. My sons development came on leaps and bounds whilst in her care. My son loved being with Sarah and her family too.
I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for childcare. It was like leaving my son with a relative.
We will miss her dearly!

Sarah has looked after our daughter for the past 4 months and we would definitely recommend her to anyone else looking for a loving warm friendly home environment for their child to be in.
Sarah offers home cooked food, a stimulating setting of toys and books for them to play with as well as the family guinea pig and garden for exploration.
Each day our daughter was ensured quite time for naps either in the cot or out in the fresh air so she got some relax time amongst all the fun.
A detailed report is provided at the end of each day there so you can see what your child has been up to & eaten that day.
We feel very fortunate to have found Sarah and are grateful for the fantastic care she has been able to offer.

Our 2 and a half year old son has happily been looked after by Sarah and her assistant from 9 months old 5 days a week. Having moved to the area when our son was 8 months old finding the right childcare was not only a mine field but also crucial given we have no extended family locally.
Sarah not only settles the babies into the childcare routine but equally important she gives both assurance and reassurance to parents. Frequent texts and photos throughout the early days helped enormously. Our son has developed physically, intellectually but we consider most importantly confidently and happy. He skips into Sarah's house and is helped to the window to wave us goodbye each morning and regularly requests to stay a little longer on an evening. Sarah's family is certainly her best reference; her 3 well mannered children are both caring and sensitive to our son. Sarah and her assistant provide information on activities and the developmental stages however this I feel is the 'must do' and actually the unwritten affection and time which is evident when they are interacting with our son has always assured me that this was the right choice for his 1st stage of childcare. He will miss Sarah her family and Maria (assistant).
