We have four children and have never had a nanny. it was a concept that is quite alien to me and I’ve never thought I needed and just battled on with the juggle of work, family life and a very hectic child schedule.
However, as our children have grown up daily life has become more challenging and demanding with activities, school work, a new baby and also some neuro diversity thrown into the mix!! We desperately needed help!! Julie has just stepped in and worked wonders. She works effortlessly around what we need from helping our children with their homework. Julie is meticulous & consistent with this and they have both developed tremendously. I no longer go to bed on an evening with a knot in my stomach that they haven’t done their reading or spellings or maths work. Consequently I have been able to focus alot of my attention on our teenager who needs a lot of help currently and also our 9 month old. I get to enjoy the start of the weekend without stress over all the work that’s built up over the school week.
In addition to the above Julie is very traditional in her approach and will read stories, play board games and identify areas that could really benefit the family except she does all this without judgement and just her experience. I’ve been able to instill new ground rules in our house that have helped me and benefited the children significantly.
I feel like I’ve got a friend and back up in the house to support me when everything is just getting too much, she really is wonderful!

Julie helped us with short term childcare, looking after our 8 month old son twice a week for a 6 week period. Our son adored Julie and took to her instantly. He loved story time and Julie’s big bag of toys.
I couldn’t recommend Julie more. She is amazing, was extremely flexible, incredibly reliable and was fantastic with our son. We couldn’t have asked for a better nanny and we’re really sad to be moving away.

Julie is totally amazing. Nothing is too much trouble, she will come to help at the drop of a hat. The care she gives is genuine and from the heart and we can really see that in our children after they spend time with her. All four of our children love her and can’t wait for her to come back every time she leaves.

Julie provided childcare for our 9 month old son a few days a week over a 3 month period. Julie was professional, caring, punctual and most importantly our son loved spending time with her; taking him on days out, playing with him on days in, preparing and feeding him meals, encouraging his love of books in the library and tiring him out at soft play before a long nap walking around the park. Would definitely recommend Julie and happily use her again.

Julie provided us with great, last minute support for our two boys (six months and two years). They spent a few hours for three days in her home, and were very well taken care of. The boys had a great time and the eldest was very excited to spend more time with Julie. She's clearly a very kind, dependable and capable person. Thanks again for your support Julie!

Julie has looked after my 11 month old twins on two occasions. Julie was very professional, qualified, friendly and highly experienced. She arrived on time and even turned up with her own toys. The babies loved spending time with Julie and she was fanatic with them (and with my dog too).
I’m hoping to use Julie lots in the future, I would highly recommend her.

As a visitor to the Harrogate area I required a sitter for my 8 year old daughter whilst I accompanied my son at his golf tournament nearby. Julie arrived armed with a car load of games and ideas for the two days. She arrived promptly with a huge smile each day and my daughter had a wonderful time in Julie's company. As a testimony to her commitment she came for a full 12 hour day with a bad back as she knew of my reliance on her. It is also worth mentioning Julie is a responsible driver.
I couldn't recommend her more!

We used Julie for babysitting our three grandchildren whilst attending a family celebration. This was the first time that any of the three children had been left with a non-family member so there was a little apprehension on the part of both sets of parents. However, on her arrival, Julie immediately put everyone at ease with her friendly and professional approach leaving us to enjoy the function with no concerns.
I would not hesitate to engage Julie again if we are in the area with our grandchildren, or to recommend her highly to anyone requiring similar services, and have no doubt that she would perform any of the other duties she offers in the same professional and knowledgable manner.

Julie has been babysitting for my 1 year old son. She is excellent babysitter/nanny! She brings his favourite toys for him which is very helpful. When he was being sick she dealt with it perfectly. I and my husband really appreciate it on the day. We can feel safe and rely on her when we go out. Thank you very much Julie!

Julie has been a wonderful nanny to my 4 month old son for the last 6 weeks and continues to make him laugh and smile. Not only has she been a visible asset to his life but her focus on his development is paramount. Julie is good on paper but is even better in person. She has also been a huge support to myself and my husband - she is neat, tidy, punctual, no job is too big and most importantly a lovely lovely lady. I couldn’t recommend her more!
