My Summary
About Me
Hello, My name is Julie, I am a very kind and caring OFSTED Registered Nanny, and I enjoy helping people. Advanced DBS Checked, Advanced Child Protection Certificate, extensive OFSTED approved childcare qualifications, clean driving license, Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Certificate, and professional first aid kit. Anaphylaxis adrenaline pen trained and defibrillator trained. I live in Harrogate and have two lovely children aged 23 and 21. I decided to become a nanny because I love working with young children. They are inspiring, inquisitive, and amazing. I find it incredibly rewarding watching a child grow and develop, and I would like to play a role in helping children reach their full potential. Your child will be welcomed into my loving care and made to feel safe, secure, and extremely well cared for. I aim to provide a wide range of stimulating and educational activities that will be based around your childs' current interests. We will have regular outings to local baby groups, the library, play parks, and lovely walks. I currently or have recently worked as a volunteer for six charities including The Air Ambulance, Harrogate and Knaresborough Toy Library, Age UK, Hearing Dogs for the Deaf, Medical Detection Dogs and Springboard Harrogate Homeless Project. I love to take extra special care of children from birth upwards. I am a very dedicated nanny who takes great pride in her work. I specialize in caring for newborn babies up to primary school age. I was awarded the Childcare.co.uk Certificate of Excellence. Thank you for reading my profile, and I look forward to hearing from you.
My Experience
I am currently looking for my next lovely long-term family as my last one has just started school. So I have good availability at the moment. I work as a Sole Charge Nanny and in a Super Nanny role, helping a range of families to resolve problems and issues regarding their children. I have had twenty three years experience in childcare and as a full time mum bringing up my own two lovely children and I have always helped to run Toddler groups, Play Schools and after school clubs which my children attended during that time.

We’ve had the pleasure of having Julie provide ad hoc babysitting for our children and we couldn’t be more grateful.
From the very first visit, she brought along a delightful array of games, books, and toys that immediately captivated our children. Her ability to engage them in creative and educational play is truly remarkable. It’s evident that she takes the time to understand each child’s interests and needs, as she quickly formed a genuine connection with them.
What stands out most is her approach to childcare, she makes the children feel comfortable and secure in her care. Her warmth, patience, and enthusiasm have made her a positive impact on the household :)

Julie comes on an ad hoc basis for my 2 year old. She always brings lots of toys and games. On her last visit Julie was with us all day so took George to the library and Harlow carr. George is always really happy to see Julie and I really appreciate Julie keeping me updated with photos and texts so I can see how they are getting on.
Julie has fitted in really well to our busy family life. Thank you Julie.

Is what my 5 year old is always asking us. She loves Julie’s visit and is so excited when she comes to babysit. Our daughter loves how she comes with a huge bag of books to read her before bed. It’s invaluable knowing that both our 2 and 5 year olds are in safe and
reliable hands. Even when our 2 year old has woken up Julie has settled him back to sleep without issue. We’re so glad to have found Julie!
