Friendly, professional, intelligent service.

Shereen and the very capable Butterflynest team provided a welcoming and friendly environment our child to develop and thrive. Butterflynest daycare use their accredited knowledge of teaching to provide a service that synergises play and learning. My DD was always eager during the morning drop off to get through the door sometimes even forgetting to say goodbye to myself or her mum. She spoke fondly of all the activities, books and toys she engaged with, as well the treasured friends she bonded with.

Shereen is very proactive with her communication and corresponded often with daily updates in regards to our DD. She is receptive to feedback and actively facilitated conversations regarding our child's academic and general development concerns and achievements. This was via multiple channels such as in person conversations, messages and emails and also through a secure app/ platform that allowed for images/ videos to be shared in a way that provided mitigation of data security/ privacy concerns. On that note, the app user experience has improved since our initial introduction to it Via Butterflynest daycare. But whilst it does the job in terms of required functionality. Its user experience and interface would sometimes fall short of my expectations(mileage may vary).

ButterflyNest' pragmatic and considered layout and use of the settings space allows for diverse activities and opportunities explore and learn whilst in a safe environment. Our DD would often greet us during pick up, with various art pieces and or material evidence of the subject/ topic that had been the main theme of that day.

The quality of butterflyNest daycare is evident especially in comparison with some of the other settings we considered before engaging with them. Their key competitive asset is Shereen and her practical and passionate application of her skills and experience educating and nurturing children.

Even after moving out of our previous residence we continued to utilise their services despite the travel distance, as we saw value in completing our DD preschool stage within Butterflynest daycares capable hands.

Butterflynest daycare' service inspires confidence and trust, which we highly recommend parents and guardians to consider them first to see if it would be inline with their family/ child's circumstances and or needs.

I really appreciate it and I thoroughly enjoyed watching your DD grow from a one year old up until she started her Reception Class year at school. It was an absolute pleasure to have her with us! We have recently started using a new app to share daily photos etc with parents and we've received a very positive response to this from our current families. Best Childminder ever!!!!

Shereen took on my son at last minute and really accommodated to both our needs. She arranged a home visit quickly and put a tremendous amount of effort into the settling period. My son still talks about Shereen till present despite being at primary school. I wish she did holiday clubs and after school clubs because she was so ideal!!!! I will never forget all the kindess and hard work she displayed and neither will my son. If you get a place for your child with Shereen you are extremely lucky. Thank you so much!

Awesome childminder and Setting

My son attended this setting for over 2 years and during that time developed mentally and emotionally beyond our expectations. The one to one, attention, care and support given by Shereen and her staff ensured that my son has been more than equipped to start reception streets ahead of the Early Years curriculum. He has also developed strong social skills and settled in very well at reception this year. In fact his reception teacher called me to praise his phonics skills, the fact that he can write his name and many other words unexpected for his age group! This is all down to the effort and time put into my child's development by Shereen and her team.
Shereen and her staff cannot do enough to accommodate parents and their children's needs. During the lockdown this year, Shereen still provided links to learning materials and had regular updates with us to see how both we the parents and our child was doing. This was very much appreciated.
I cannot recommend this setting enough if you are looking for childcare with highly motivated staff who will encourage your child to grow and develop through a healthy balance of education and play.

Truly amazing childminder!

I can't recommend Shereen enough! She is a lovely albeit strict childminder but my son absolutely adores her! We have been through quite a few or rather too many settings with our first son and frankly we were never fully satisfied so we really wanted it to work the second time round with our younger boy. We always wanted a home away from home setting, with caring, kind and open person who truly loves being around children and wants them to turn into amazing little beings ready for life and school! Shereen provides a range of educational activities, outings, even caterpillar to butterfly experience, singing, reading and lots of great feedback with daily photos and texts. Our son settled in on the first day he walked in through the door! He now runs into her home and doesn't look back. What we also like is that the other children are similar age to our son, healthy snacks are provided and that our son is not part of any school pick up or drop off with much older children, which I have noticed with many other childminders. I want my son to be well-looked after and not be taken on daily trips to local primary schools and spending most of the time in a pushchair as we experienced in other settings! Sadly.

The quality of educational activities is superb, our son always brings home some exciting looking pieces of art. He naps there very comfortably too, as there is a spare bedroom specifically for little ones to rest. Her house is spacious and children can freely play in 2 rooms upstairs filled with a range of books, games and other exciting toys. Garden is full of toys too and I am also happy to know that whatever comments or suggestions I made, I have always been listened to. All in all, absolutely amazing and we are very lucky to have her! I am already anxious about the time when my son needs to leave her to go to school as I really don't want this to happen! It is worth an extra drive too, for those who think it be a little away from where you might want it to be.

Amazing lady!!!

Our son has been visiting Shereen since September and we couldn’t believe how quickly she made him feel comfortable and happy at her house. When we leave him there with her we know that he is in safe hands and will have a great time. Highly recommend her services. She’s excellent!
