Exceptional and talented nanny!!

Rebecca has been our ad hoc nanny and babysitter since we moved to London. She impressed me when we initially had coffee together to run through our little girl and her requirements. She is friendly, professional and really understands children and child care.

Since working for our family we have never experienced any issues. She is a great communicator and replies promptly to my messages when trying to book her. She is timely and is never late for any of our babysitting sessions. She has never cancelled either.

She makes sure both of us feel comfortable when she does come over and always messages us when we are away with an update. Our little girl absolutely adores her. We also have pets who also love having Rebecca around.

I cannot recommend her enough. We really love her looking after our little one and we can clearly see how passionate she is about childcare.

A complete let down

I am highly disappointed with this nanny's unprofessional behaviour. I interviewed her last Friday at which she agreed to nanny for me starting this Monday. The days and times were all agreed upon at the end of interview.

She then messages me on this website on what seems like Sunday to say she took a job elsewhere and wont be nannying for me Monday. She had my mobile number but didn't have the decency to call me and let me know over the phone she assumed I would receive message through this website which I didn't until Monday morning.

I rang her several times on Monday morning as I hadn't seen her message yet on website and she ignored all my calls and texts.

I was unable to go to work because of her unprofessional behaviour and am now at risk of losing my job. I would have thought she would have the decency to adhere to what was agreed on Friday instead of leading me on and so drastically letting me down . I am so disappointed in how she has handled the whole situation.

I have put 1 star because I don't have a choice but to tick a star otherwise she isn't worth even that 1 star.

This review has left me shocked and disappointed and I want you to be aware of what occurred.

I attended an interview with Zahra on Friday 5th February. During the interview I got the impression she wasn't really interviewing me but instead it seemed she was offering me the position. I asked her if this was the case and she agreed. I informed her I would need to take time to think about it and asked her if she was interviewing anyone else at which she replied that she wasn't.
This left me feeling very pressured as though she was already fully relying on me.
We discussed hours and days and as the interview ended we agreed I would have a think and get back to Zahra by Sunday 7th February.

I decided to accept another position for many reasons and upon making my decision I tried to call Zahra on Sunday Morning, when I couldn't get through I sent two text messages and a further message on childcare.co.uk to be sure Zahra would get my message.

However on Monday morning I noticed a number of missed calls and text messages upon waking and immediately responded. I was taken aback by the rudeness of the messages i received.

I have never taken a nanny role unless I was 100% sure it was a good fit and that is why I like to have time to think over the role and how me and the family got on.

LO loved her

Becka is was on time and stayed a bit longer than we expected to be out, without any worries. She is very confident and friendly, LO loved her at first sight. I will definitely use her again

Me and my family recommend Rebecca. She took care of our two kids. My 4 years old son and my daughter who is 1 year old. We desperately needed a nanny to take care of them on such a short notice and she was brilliant. Both of my kids were really relax and happy around her. She is reliable and proactive and creative playing with them activities they truly enjoyed (painting, drawing, play dough). Thanks Becka!

Babysitting

Rebecca helped us with some emergency baby sitting in early September and we really appreciated what she did. Rebecca was punctual, had a good time with the children and we will definitely ask her again to help us in the future.

Five stars!

Since there is not a review on here yet for Becka, I thought I would add one since she just finished a wonderful week of work for us. We have just moved to the Surrey area and did not have any contacts for a sitter. I found Becka on this website and she was free this week to help me with my 9 year old twins and 6 year old, while I was unpacking boxes. From the first day the kids loved spending time with her. She drove them very safely to various fun activities such as a farm, chessington, tramp park and laser tag. She had a list of suggestions for me as I am new to the area, and she provided pricing and opening times. She kindly called or texted when they safely arrived at each destination or were heading home. She sent me photos during the day of their fun together. She did a SUPER job jumping into all of this and the kids had so much fun with her. She was very professional, mature and kind. I recommend her highly!
