Excellent

Sapphire came to our rescue when our twin boys were 3 months old and we were getting minimal sleep. She helped us get into a routine and with her help the boys sleeping for longer periods overnight. She both did some day and night nannying for us and I always felt very comfortable leaving the boys in her care.
We then sought her out at 10 months when the the boys’ sleep had gone hay wire post heat wave, covid and a house move. She provided a sleep plan for us and got us from 1-2h wakeups with lots of co sleeping to the boys back in their own cots and minimal wakes. She was respectful of boundaries and helped us to find a method that fitted with our tolerance of the boys crying and their temperament.
I would recommend her hands down for both in person nannying and as a sleep consultant.

Amazing!

Sapphire is amazing and we echo everything already said. She came to us initially as a night nanny but also helped on occasional days. We were keen to get our little one into a routine and sleeping through the night and Sapphiire was so helpful in guiding us to (mainly) achieving this. Couldn’t recommend her enough! Our daughter is 15 months now and I still ask Sapphire questions when we are having difficulties. She’s full of helpful tips and information..

Amazing nanny

Sapphire is the best nanny we've had, it is a shame she is fully booked. She's taught us so much from when my son was first born, we trusted Sapphire with our new born without issues. She was always very gentle and good with our son. ❤️ she has always been an amazing help, especially regarding sleep.

Sapphire is the best.

Sapphire worked full time as nanny to our triplet boys for a year and a half from June 2017 to December 2018. She came to us just as I was returning to work after a year of maternity leave, so she looked after our children from roughly 12 to 30 months of age.

My husband and I could not have been more pleased with a nanny than we were with Sapphire. She was amazingly professional and organised, honest and trustworthy, firm yet patient and compassionate, personable, optimistic, and unflappable. She is the type of person who takes pride in her work and is not afraid of tackling a challenge.

Sapphire’s level of care for the children and general energy for the job were unassailable. She cooked healthy hot meals for the kids every day, would regularly batch cook for me, did nearly all the boys’ laundry, and made sure we came home to a tidy house. She always made time to get the kids outside to play, whether around the farm where we lived, or on an outing to a nearby park or playground. She sleep-trained them to nap reliably in morning and afternoon, which ultimately helped them sleep well through the night. She read to the boys every day, and taught them the alphabet and how to count to ten by the time they were 2. She also had them all using the toilet by the time they were 2 and a half.

As an employee, Sapphire was impeccably reliable. She was ten minutes early for work without fail. When an emergency came up, which I believe happened only once in 18 months, she found me a replacement nanny for the day. When she took time off, she always asked well ahead of time and always helped me find cover.

On a personal level, Sapphire was a joy to have around. My husband and I always felt comfortable to discuss things with her regarding the children. As new parents, we felt really lucky to have her experienced perspective on raising kids, and especially multiples. She was also accommodating when my father-in-law or my mother were in town. The grandparents would sometimes tag along on the kids’ outings which was really fantastic for them. Every one of our friends and family who met her liked her and were impressed.

The only reason Sapphire stopped working for us was because I changed jobs and we had to relocate out of the area. We have had good child-carers since that time, but none who could compare to the quality of care and commitment that Sapphire exemplifies. Long after we parted ways, my children still ask after her and her son, Alfie, who was like a big brother to them.

I would highly recommend Sapphire for any childcare role.

Wedding day Nanny of Dreams

Nanny Sapphire was our wedding day nanny and it was the best purchase of our whole wedding!

She was amazing and our 7 month old girl, Erin settled with her immediately.
Erin was fed when we all were eating and napped too during the puddings with Nanny Sapphire not taking her eyes off our little girl sleeping in her pushchair. All small details were considered like taking her headband off while she slept for safety without us thinking about such things or asking her.
She made it possible for our little girl to be part of our day and took all the routine worries (of having a 7 month old) off of our shoulders allowing us to enjoy our whole day.

We received great comments from many of the guests after too, saying how amazing they thought she was and what a great idea they thought it was to have the nanny for the day.

I cannot recommend Nanny Sapphire enough.

Fantastic nanny

Sapphire helped take care of our little boy from about 3-6 months.

She was an excellent nanny and I would highly recommend her. She helped us get into a great routine which made bedtime and nights much easier and helped me better understand my baby’s cues and needs.

She was super flexible which helped with my irregular schedule. She provided lots of helpful advice on sleeping and weaning which we are following with great success.

My little boy always enjoyed his time with her and I am just sad that we’re relocating abroad and cannot take her with us!

Baby whisperer

Sapphire helped us when my 3rd child was just a few weeks old along with my 22 month old and 3 year old. She had my baby in a routine immediately that she (baby) responded really well to and Sapphire wrote out the timings for me to try and follow on the days she wasn’t working for us.
Sapphire helped me to juggle all 3 children and sometimes had them all by herself. My older children also responded really well to a structured meal & snack time, eating their meals which Sapphire was happy to prepare for them (she has good nutritional knowledge and competent cooking skills), with very little fuss. They would go for their naps, up to the bath or bed time as and when they were asked. Sapphire has a gentle but assertive manner, helped me to get the best behaviour out of my children and understands their programming. She was willing to share tips with me to overcome any difficulties or to get the best out of everyone. She is totally unphased by juggling young children and is happy to get involved with any activities I needed her to, including swimming. The children enjoyed playing with sapphire both free play and more structured learning. She also drives a safe car and was willing to take them out and about to local activity centres. Her time management was very good, not only arriving at work but throughout the day, her awareness of getting the children ready to leave at a certain time and helping to get their bags ready, or being back for nap times, ready to cook meals etc. She is a safe and very competent pair of hands to help with childcare.

An angel

Sapphire was an absolute star. Helped us out in an emergency and not only looked after and sing to my baby but also my partner who was laid up in bed.
We contacted Sapphire the night before we needed emergency care and she went above and beyond to ensure we weren't stranded.
We will definitely look at using Sapphire again, hopefully this time given her much more notice.

Simply The Best

Sapphire looked after our twin three-year-olds for a week and a half assignment and we were extremely pleased at how quickly she established a rapport with the children.

Sapphire has lots of ideas for fun and learning play activities, both indoors and outdoors, including taking the children on trips to parks. We always had confidence that the children were in very safe, experienced hands.

Sapphire also gave us lots of great advice along the way on a variety of subjects including toilet-training and sleeping. We will be asking her to return before long for sleep consultations.

Based on all the above points we thoroughly recommend Sapphire.

fab nanny

Sapphire is brilliant. We so enjoyed having her as our nanny for a few weeks. Very punctual, fun and engaging with the children. helped with reading and homework and her little boy is a pleasure x
