Our 2 year old Daughter has been with Val for 4 days a week since she was 10 months old. From the moment we walked into Vals home we knew she was going to be the childminder for us.
Her home from home setting full of engaging educational activities is exactly what we wanted for our little girl.
Val’s garden is something else. Full of toys, activity areas and dens her outside space is used come rain or shine and our little one absolutely loves it.
Val has been brilliant at providing daily feedback and also feedback on the milestones our daughter achieves which has been so reassuring when leaving to return to work full time. We’re so glad we found Val and couldn’t wish for a better person to look after our little girl.

Val is a superb childminder. I have been lucky enough to have her look after my children for the last 6 years.
The provision at Val’s Little Mindies is excellent. There is a large outdoor area to explore, which is continuously customised to respond to the children’s interests; an outdoor classroom so the children can be outside even in bad weather and a huge range of resources inside for all age groups.
Val is hugely experienced, which was reflected in how well both my children settled with her from the ages of 8 months. She know when they need some TLC and approaches every situation with compassion And understanding. She is truly magical at talking round stubborn children!
She often goes on trips to local parks, visits fun children’s groups and takes the children to museums. My children always come home tired and happy from another fun-filled day.
Val is a wonderful childminder.

Val is so welcoming and is amazing with the children in her care. She supported my son to settle well. I felt so happy when my son smiled and reached to go to her during our morning drop off. That's when I knew how happy he is when he is with Val and the other children.
She keeps in contact with us throughout the day to show us all the amazing activities and visits the children do.
Her setting is nothing I have ever seen with a childminder before, it is like a mini nursery. Dedicated spaces for the children with endless resources. My son has made amazing development since starting.

Val is a FANTASTIC childminder. We have been lucky enough to work with her for 3 years now and I really don't know what we'd do without her.
She provides an exciting and stimulating environment with a home from home atmosphere. Both my children, 1year old and 3 years old, love going to Val's. The purpose built children's rooms and garden are the perfect places for little ones to explore and learn while having a brilliant time. It's not unusual for my children to want to stay longer when I go to pick them up.
They regularly attend local children's groups; take part in lots of arts and crafts projects and in the holidays go on fun days out.
Val is incredibly adaptable and looks after the emotional, social and learning needs of all the children in her care to the very highest standard.
I can't recommend Val highly enough.
