About Me
I live with my husband, 2 and a half year old daughter, 1 year old son, boxer dog and 2 rabbits in Great Hollands. I've always lived in Bracknell apart for when I went to Japan for 6 months doing voluntary work with physically and mentally disabled people. My family all live in Bracknell too so I have a great support network. I've always worked with children and love being a positive, caring and fun person in the lives. I enjoy doing lots of activities with children such as walks in the parks and play there too, local toddler groups, local library visits, arts and crafts, cooking and much more. I want the children in my care to feel like my home is theirs too.
My Experience
As soon as I left school I started my NVQ training while working in a Children's nursery. I worked with ages 3 months to 5 years while there. I then went to Japan, In my spare time over there I taught the local children English. After coming home I decided to start Nannying and over the many years doing this I've worked with only 3 different families that had children from birth to teenage. I now have my own children who are 2 and a half and 9 month's of age.
My Qualifications
Paediatric first aid, First aid, NVQ levels 2 and 3 in child care and education, registered childminder qualification CACHE level 3 diploma in home based childcare, safeguarding children level 1 workshop, level 2 in food safety for catering. My ofsted rating is good.
My Availability
I have part time space for one child aged between 12 months and 5 years. Also have spaces for over 5's, before and after school and during school holidays. I do school drop and pick up from Wooden Hill school as my own child attends pre school on those grounds on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. Very flexible, can do evenings, weekends and overnight.
