About Me
I live in Bebington with my husband and children aged 21 and 17. I have childminded for 14 years,but previously worked in the social services for 13 years.
I attend quality activity groups for the children in my care where they can explore the world in a safe, secure environment and by being given challenges to take their learning a stage further.
I have spent most of my childcare career working with children aged 0 - 8 years.
I am fully registered with Ofsted and the NCMA.
Ofsted last visited me in 2015/2016 and graded me as "Outstanding" in areas of childcare and education .My inspection report details how the inspector observed how well the children enjoy and achieve within my setting. Also how each child's individual learning and development are tracked and reported.I pride myself on keeping up to date journals tracking children's development and working in partnership with parents so their child receives the best quality care.
My Experience
I have my NNEB certificate and 27 years experience working with families.
I have sucessfully completed my "foundation degree" . This course has enabled me to transfer skills learnt, to my practice and improve the quality of care I provide for the children in my care.
As a registered childminder I keep up to date with the relevant training and legislation.
I attend many regular training sessions to update my knowledge and legislation such as;EYFS, First aid, hygiene, safeguarding children.
I am an NCMA member and also fully insured, CRB checked and registered with Ofsted.
My Qualifications
As mentioned I hold my NNEB and have worked exstensively with many families over the last 27 years.
I completed my foundation degree in early years in June 2012.
I have many wonderful statements from the families of children I have cared for in the past. This is the first time in my 9 years of childminding that I have had any childcare spaces.
