About Me
I thrive on working with children, I love how much of an impact the children and families I meet and help have on me. I think family life is so important, and obviously having a beautiful childhood, which Is why I always give th utmost care to all children in my care. I have strong family values and I am a continuous kind loyal and happy person. I am not going to tell you my life story on here but I have a positive outlook on life, I love the work that I do.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for nearly six years now and have experience of working with children from birth to twelve. I love my job and what I do and I have met some wonderful families over the years, many of which I am still in touch now with. After University I worked in a local nursery in a school near to where I live in Plymouth and well as working in a nearby health club in their Creche and running children's clubs for chidren in the school holidays and hosting childrens birthday parties. But earlier last year I decided to take the plunge and leave my job to become a Nanny which is what I have always wanted to do. I worked as a Nanny in February 2013 for the luxury firm Powder Byrne in Arosa Switzerland. I then worked in Paleros Greece as a Nanny for Sunsail from April 2013 to November 2013. I am now working for the prestigious ski company Meriski as a nanny. I can work in their creche or I can be booked to be a private nanny in the chalets. I love it here and I have already met some amazing families. I return at the end of April and I would love to be based in England for my next job and I am looking for the right family. I specialise in working with children with special needs and have experience of working one to one with children last summer whilst I was in Greece including a girl with downs syndrome, a girl with autistism and a boy with severe autism.
My Qualifications
As well as GCSES and A-Levels I hold a Public Relations degree. I studied after this to gain early years professional status. I have an up to date CRB. I hold a full clean driving license and my references are easily obtainable. I hold training certificates in many courses including in sign language, speech and language therapy, first aid, food hygiene ,health and safety and safeguarding children.
My Availability
I am currently working as a Nanny in Meribel in The French Alps until the end of April this year, I have been here since the end of November . I am looking for work for when I return to England.
