About Me
I have recently graduated in English Language and Communication. I hope to begin a Primary PGCE in 2011 and eventually to teach people who are vulnerable and have special needs. I feel i am a patient and caring person and have always desired this career path as i am passionate about helping others. I believe that being a carer would give me invaluable experience with interacting with vulnerable people and give me a deeper insight into their individual needs. I feel i would be successful in this role and would work hard to ensure it. I enjoy being around children and have grown up with younger siblings. I feel that child minding would increase my desire to teach and give me more invaluable experience with children’s needs.
My Experience
I have volunteered in schools doing Teaching Assistant duties. I have also been babysitting since I was 15 in sole charge for non family members as well as relatives. I also have experience mentoring children in school and helping them with tasks such as reading and homework. I am willing to tutor children as well as this would be beneficial to my educational experience before starting my Post Graduate Teaching Qualification
