About Me
I'm Charlotte, a midwife living in Cranwell. My husband is in the RAF and stationed at Waddington. We have two boys age 10 and 7.
My Requirements
My husband and I are originally from Essex, but live in Cranwell for my husband’s work. Due to moving around, we have no support network locally. I am looking for Nannies/Childminders/Babysitters that have time to offer occasional adhoc support when my husband is away. Care may be for 2-6 shifts over one to two weeks at a time, but could also be the odd shift at any time. Hours to cover would ideally be either 15:45-21:00 or 17:00-21:00 if you would be happy to collect our boys from after school club in Cranwell on your way to our home. There may also be night cover required from 18:30-07:30 school drop off.
My two boys are 10 and 7 (almost 8), they’re good, well behaved children and are as independent as you’d expect. They go to bed at 19:30 and wake after 06:00, so would be easy cover for a night shift.
We would love to organise a collection of kind, trustworthy carers that we could enquire with to support us with our childcare needs when my husband is away. We appreciate most people are busy most of the time, but requests would likely be in advance opposed to last minute :-)
