About Me
I'm Sue ,i have 3 grown up children.I was a nanny running of a large family home of a consultant urologist and lone parent where I oversaw the day to day running of his home/life and children until he relocated to Canada
I am good with children and they seem to genuinely like my company .
I'm a natural happy person ,punctual , reliable , Patient ,kind and very nurturing to all the children I care for .I am very easy to get along with and I'm flexible with hours .I have a current live DBS. checkable references one being my present employer also previous employers. I have lots of personal references and my family vicar who's known me for 27 yrs lots more if needed including teachers who I have worked along side .
I am looking to be part of the children's lives and family i work with as well as employee.
i am currently In the process of registering with Ofsted registering as a childminder or nanny to help with fees
I previously worked at a registered children's home as a senior support worker which I loved . I was Employed by Knowsley social services as a support worker for over 20 years working with clients with learning and physical disabilities and complex needs which I loved until being made redundant.
I am trained in special needs and have no problem with children with medical needs , I have completed extensive medication courses i am fully trained to give epilepsy rescue medication .I have wealth of experience with children and babies including newborns. I have a level 3 diploma in children and young people and worked in a registered children's homes with children of all ages .
I like walking ,socialising,aqua aerobics, keeping fit , I'm a good cook and love baking with the children .
I am fully qualified hairdresser , I'm very interested in healthy eating.
I have up to date Paediatric first aid , health and hygiene .

My Experience
I have a wealth of experience with newborns ,babies ,toddlers and children of all ages . I'm told I'm very patient and nurture the children in my care .I have three grown up children of my own who our good sociable people who can interact with all members of society ,confidant and have all have all gained places at Liverpool university .I think I have brought my children up to be good members of society with good morals, compassionate happy caring good people . The children and families i have previously been employed by have called me there very own Mary Poppins . Children seem to enjoy my company , I love to teach and educate , I also like to teach the children in my care living ,life skills , love of outdoors ,nature ,manners ,respect ,creativity.To be friendly happy kids ,I also like the children to have fun . I Like to take the children places of interest ,visit parks ,zoo, finding out about there interests .play games .
I have lots of experience in dealing with issues with children that maybe a parents are finding it hard to deal with ,I try and help them find solutions this could be ,sleeping ,eating ,bedtime issues etc .
My Qualifications
I have worked with children in residential children's home also as a full time nanny/personal assistant for a professional family. I have spent Over 20 yrs supporting children clients with physical/learning disabilities
Working for KMBC social services which I loved until being made redundant .
I have level 3 diploma in children and young people.
