About Me
My name is Matt. I am a Primary School teacher, currently working in Chelmsford. I am energetic, outgoing and specialise in making sessions as engaging, good-humoured and innovative in order to achieve fantastic progress. I play a lot of sport away from work and love to add a relaxed, competitive element to lessons and sessions!
My Experience
I have been teaching for 9 years and have been graded as consistently 'outstanding' by Ofsted. I have experience of teaching all age ranges across KS1 & KS2 in both the private and state sector.
I am currently teaching a year 6 class, having taught year 2, 4, 5 and mixed Year 5/6 classes previously.
My particular passion is for writing and have worked with children across the spectrum of abilities and needs, leading to the design of resources (both physical and ICT based) to be used across the curriculum.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified SENCo and specialise in Trauma.
I studied a Master's degree in Classics at the University of Nottingham (with merit) and completed the Graduate Teacher Programme (graded outstanding).
3 A-Levels (English, History, Product Design)
12 GCSE's (A*-B grade).
My Availability
I am available evenings and weekends, with extra daytime sessions during the school holidays (on weekdays).
