About Me
I am a qualified registered childminder working in the Tingley area offering high quality childcare for children aged 0-17 years old. I hold public Liability insurance and a member of PACEY.
I live with my husband and my little girl in a 3 bedroom detached house with an enclosed garden and dedicated play area.
I offer a homely environment with a safe and secure outdoor play area/garden.
I live close to local schools offering school pick up and drop off's including the flexibility to offer school holiday care. I also offer full time and term time contracts and my opening and closing hours are flexible to accommodate parents work patterns.
I provide freshly made/ home cooked meals and snacks accommodating special diets and cultural needs.
I follow the EYFS curriculum providing excellent individual learning plans and age/stage appropriate activities for each of the children in my care.
I attend local play and stay sessions, parks and greenland, as well as organise outings and trips.
My philosophy as a registered childminder is to provide high quality childcare, in excellent surroundings that will endeavor to develop every child's individual learning needs and abilities in a safe, secure and homely environment.
My recent Ofsted inspection (24/05/22)
is Outstanding in all areas.
My Experience
I have many years experience in various childcare settings including running my own childminding business and managing Day Nursery settings.
My Qualifications
I am NVQ level 4 qualified in Children's care, Learning and Development. I also hold a up to date Pediatric First Aid certificate and DBS check, plus many more related training qualifications including Safeguarding. Please request my training certificates on visiting my setting.
My Availability
My working hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-6:00pm but I offer a very flexible service, accommodating both earlier mornings and later evenings, school holidays,term time contracts, full and term time places etc. Please feel free to contact me further, to discuss your individual childcare requirements.

Please contact me for my hourly rate- I accept childcare vouchers and sibling rates are available. I also provide term time rates too.

Rachel has looked after my son for the last 15 months and he is thoroughly enjoying his time with her, sometimes he doesn't want to leave as he is having so much fun. Mealtimes are very accommodating as Harry is a very fussy eater and Rachel always seems to go out of her way to make sure he has eaten. The setting and equipment that is provided is of a very high standard and there are plenty of learning activities planned each week. I found it really nice the portfolio which is created shows the development of the child so you don't feel that you are missing out on what your child is doing when your not with them.
I am very happy with the childcare provided by Rachel and i also send my older daughter in school holidays. I feel privileged to have Rachel looking after my children.
