My name is Gemma and i have all the qualities needed for a lovely Nanny!
I am British and i have grown up in Angel in Islington,London.
I am very down to earth, very friendly,warm and an extremely caring person.
I enjoy looking after babies and children,for me it is very rewarding seeing them develop into happy little people!!
I am a mature woman with a sense of fun and a great sense of humour.I have a very positive out look on life and i am a very cheerful lady!
My ultimate goal at all times, is the safety, happiness, emotional and mental well being of all the children in my care.My aim is to make sure they know they are loved and that they are happy and content!
I am a very experienced Live Out Nanny that has worked with 3 Families full time.First family for 4yrs/6mths, 2nd family for 2yrs.3rd Family 1yr/6mths. I have also work on an Ad Hoc basis and babysat for many parents.
I have also worked in a Montessori Nursery school in City Rd London for 1yr/10mths as a Nursery Nurse, in the Baby/early toddler room ,ages 3mths-16mths.I occasionally worked with the older Children,up to 5yrs.As a person i am very conscientious,easy going,reliable with a "Muck in" attitude and I am very flexible. I am from a large Family(7 Children!!) and we all had to do our share,especially the older siblings,me being one of them!
I am very nurturing,loving, caring,patient,firm but fair,fun and i love giving lots of cuddles.I believe in good manners,and teaching respect for all others.
I promote good,healthy eating habits and good behaviour.
I have looked after Children from Newborn to early Teens.
I am also a Mother to a Son(an extremely PROUD Mum,may i add!!)) who is studying at Westminister University in London,(graduating in June),so i have been through all the stages of bringing up a child,with the greatest success!

Update...My son graduated in June 2014 with Honours!!
The 2nd proudest day of my life!!The first was the day he was born,with many more inbetween!!
