About Me
Rara's Rascals Forest Childcare My name is Sandra otherwise known as Rara (one of my children couldnt say Sandra and the name has stuck) I am an Ofsted registered Childminder. I have recently gained a good in my Ofsted inspection. I live with my husband and both have been CRB checked. I have a grown up daughter. We live on a farm near to Colsterworth and Corby Glen with easy access to the A1
My aim is to provide a safe, caring and stimulationg enviroment for your child to enjoy and develop within the Early Years criteria.
Chidlren become part of our extended family in our homely environment where children flourish and grow.
Within my setting there is a playroom for all children to access with a large range of toys and equipment for your child to enjoy. There is a large secure garden with equipment for all ages and a purpose built vegetable garden where the children can enjoy growing their own vegetables. We are often out and about enjoying and exploring our environment with many organised trips to widen our expereinces and knowledge of the world around us. We make full use of our surroundings and children are encouraged to learn and make use of our environment with walks and many nature based activities.
I am able, if required to provide healthy well balanced lunchtime meals and snacks.
Early Years Entitlement of 30 free hours per week for 3 & 4 year olds available.

My Experience
I come from a large family and have always been around and helped to look after childen of all ages. I have been childminding since 2003. I have also experience of working in a Playgroup setting.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Workforce qualification. I hold a current First Aid Certificate, Introduction to Childcare Practice and Child Protection. I have also attended courses on Music Workshop, record keeping EYFS workshop. I have recently attended a short course on children with Autism
My Availability
I am available from Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. Care outside of these hours may be available at an extra charge of £5.00 per hour per child.
