Hi my name is Abbie
I have taken some time away from nannying to have my daughter who is now 13 months old.
I have been so lucky to be able to have this time off with my her, but i now find myself looking for an exciting new part time nanny poisition to fit the right family. To create a loveable, trustworthy relationship and bond with the family as this is important to me.
I am a kind, bubbly and outgoing person who enjoys fun and active days out! I am a patient individual with a warm heart and a good listening ear. I love to socialise with friends and have our family days, meet new people and travel to explore new places.
A well mannered, compassionate and responsible nanny, with 7+ years experience with interest in children and their development. A confident child carer who is keen to develop close relationships with both the children and families. Has a passion for encouraging learning in every child. My Experience
My previous nanny position was with a loving family caring for a 5 year old boy and a 14 month old girl.
My role outlined:
-Taking the oldest child to and from school
- Caring for the little girl during the day organising playgroups and activities
- Preparing and making meals together with the children
- Arranging playdats with friend on a weekly basis and during school holidays
- Light household duties
I worked as a full time nanny providing primary care for 2 girls ages 4 & 9 I have worked with this family since the baby was 11 weeks old. My job role outlines:
- Taking and collecting the children from school and after school activities
- Helping to complete school homework
- I ensure I prepare nutritional meals, presenting these in a creative manner using imaginary skills
- Arranging physical activities and days out for the children and weekly playdates with friends
- Ensuring I attend playgroups and classes with the younger one that she enjoys
- Household chores
Alongside the previous I have also worked overseas with the tour company TUI UK. I worked as a kids representative in Tenerife Spain, during a summer season.
- I worked with ages from 3-11 years
- Ran parent and toddler sessions
- I entertained and ran themed activities twelve hours a day for the children on holiday bringing the children's imaginations to life by dressing up in costumes and being in character
- Organising exciting activities such as arts and crafts, treasure hunts, boards games and games indoors and out
- I was responsible for ensuring all TUI customers were satisfied at all times and had to take control of public speaking at welcome meetings daily.
I also worked in a Nursery with children from the ages of babies to pre school.This is where I gained my Level 2 & 3 childcare qualifications . I followed all nursery policies and guidelines to meet the children's health and safety needs. I enjoyed working part of a team and the running structure of a nursery setting.
