About Me
Hello and thank you for the taking the time to view my profile. My name is Kerry, I was a primary school teacher with experience of teaching all ages from 5-11 years for 10 years, before lockdown. I am now a SEND teacher in a specialise SEND school.
I am trained to teach all subjects to GCSE level.
Please note: I am fully booked at the moment. I will update when I have availability.
My Experience
I have worked as a primary school teacher for 10 years, where I was a Modern Foreign Languages coordinator, until traveling and working abroad (While in Chile I privately taught English to both adults and young children (1-6 years old) and thoroughly enjoyed it). Since then I have worked in one school teaching mainly year 3 and 4, as well as being the PE coordinator, where I received special recommendation from Ofsted.
I have also worked in a speech and language unit at a primary school and have worked with many autistic children.
I am now teaching in a SEND School, which I am enjoying thoroughly.
My previous career was as an actor and I use many of those skills while interacting with all age of students.
My Qualifications
10 GCSE's (A-C)
3 Year NCDT Diploma in Acting.
Postgraduate Qualification in Primary Education.
Supporting children with special needs and language impairment.
My Availability
Available most afternoons (after school) with possibility of some days.
