Hello :)
I have previously worked in a residential children’s home for 18 months including both a boys and a girls home, and I have completed a level 3 diploma for working with children in residential childcare. I have also completed safeguarding training, level 2 in food hygiene, attachment training, first aid and ages and stages.
I have a Psychology degree and have completed modules in attachment and child development.
I have provided babysitting previously for families and also friends and family friends. I also have a younger sister aged 11 who I have looked after when she was growing up.
I currently work in schools as a children’s well-being practitioner, helping young people in secondary schools with low mood and anxiety and helping parents in primary schools with challenging behaviour and child anxiety in younger children.
I am fun, caring, love being outdoors & really value children having the opportunity to play and be children!
I am looking for occasional evening and/or weekend babysitting.
