About Me
I am registered with the care inspectorate and a member of the SCMA. I live in Lindsayfield with my husband Stephen and my 2 daughters Sophie who is 25 and Eilidh who is 21.
I offer a safe, warm, comfortable and smoke free environment where the children can be stimulated and encouraged to become confident and independent individuals while their parents go to work or to their place of education.
I will provide a wide range of toys, games, arts and crafts, baking, stories and singing activities age/stage appropriate for your child to choose from.
I will also involve the children in outdoor activities such as walks, going to the park, shops, playing out in the garden and going to toddler group, soft play and library.
My Experience
I am a qualified nursery nurse and have over 30 years experience working with children of all ages and stages. I worked with the council for 19 of those years in various places such as setting up and running crèches, working with homeless families and their children and in day nursery and nursery classes.
I also have experience in bringing up my own 2 children and I also helped with the care of my niece and nephew.
During my time working with the council I attended many different training courses to improve my knowledge for working with children. I will continue to participate in numerous courses to update and improve these skills.

My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm although I am willing to be flexible wherever possible.
Full or part time spaces, before and after school.
I am registered to mind 6 children whom no more than 3 can be under primary age and no more than 1 under 1 year of age unless in the case of twins.
