My Experience
I have an NVQ level 2 in Childcare, and I have worked as a volunteer in a primary school for about 4 years or more. I have also done babysitting in the past looking after family members as well as a local family with 2 children 1 with autism. I have worked with a range of children 0-12yrs.
I have also worked as a playworker dropping children to and from school. I had to prepare food and clean up as part of my duty as well as teach them through many different activities.
When I finished working as a volunteer, I started working as a nanny taking a child of 18 months out to play groups, parks, museums and learn and development skills with them. Since then I took on a another child and learnt and worked from there.
