I am Amy, a enthusiastic, loving and fun with a passion for children of all ages. I have 14 years of experience under my belt. I am a family orientated person who can adapt and fit in with people from different backgrounds. i love helping and supporting children and young people develop. I also have great knowledge of the EYFS and use this as a guideline to support and develop the children under my care, I also work in a pre school.

My Experience
I used to work for Haven holidays as a childrens entertainer, I was also part of the showteam which involved dancing on stage, children's holiday clubs which ranged from messy activities to stories to devloop their language and reading skills.
I worked at a childrens day nursery for a year and a half where I gained my level 3 qualification in childcare. At nursery I was based in the 2- 3 year olds where I planned and carried out activities which linked in with the EYFS. Activities were planned around the needs of my key children in order for them to have the maximum support possible. Other duties at nursery were paperwork, keyfiles which involved the EYFS, making sure we were in ratio, ensuring safety and providing a high quality care for the children.
To add to my experience I also worked for a childrens agency too for 6 months and went to France with a family as their nanny for 6 weeks.
I have always been around children since a very young age and this is where my passion grew. I love the connection between families and helping to suuport their children.
Keeping children safe while providing a secure and stable environment for them to grow and devlop is my main priority. I love carrying out activities from face painting, dressing up, messy activities, dancing, games of a wide variety.
I have also become a parent which has enabled me to look from not only a practition's veiw but also a parent's veiw. This has given me an insight from personal experience of parents relationship which their child so I can fully understand a parents emotions and needs.

NVQ Level 3 in childcare

Baby first aid and chocking.
My Availability
I am able to babysit during the week after school hours in the evenings, weekends, i am also able to help out during the half term weeks too. If looking for help after school I am free from 4pm onwards due to work commitments at my pre school.
