About Me
My name is Pamela, I am a mother of four children (26, 23, 13 and 10 years old) I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder, and have been for 26 years.
I live in Horton, in a non-smoking household, with my two youngest children.
I have always loved working with children. I endeavour to make their day enjoyable, happy and fun whilst providing a safe and welcoming environment which will stimulate and develop their skills through playing at home and out and about.
I have lived here for 23 years and have good local knowledge of play groups, nurseries, schools, parks, libraries, and other child related facilities.
Garden: Slides (large & small), swing, climbing frame, play house with kitchen, sand, trampoline with safety net, numerous ride on cars, pop-up tents & tunnels, bats & balls, goal post, mini trampoline and a paddling pool if hot!
Play room: Toys and games for all ages, teddies, dollies & pushchairs, cars & garage, bricks, Duplo, Lego dressing up, books, kids kitchen, arts & crafts, TV & DVD’s.
Quiet room: For homework, reading, piano and supervised use of the PC.
Outings: Toddler groups, parks, feeding ducks, friends homes, Legoland, Thorpe Park, Chessington, London, farms, picnics, library, train/bus rides, town & shopping.
Car: 8 seater people carrier, booster seats, reclining car seats suitable for all ages. Buggies, double pushchairs and Special Needs pushchair.
Insurances: My car and home insurance cover my childminding business.
I have current public liability insurance.
My gas safety check is up to date.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for 30 years.
After leaving school I became a nanny. I worked for families with twins and triplets.
After having my first child I decided to become a child minder.
I am on the early years register at RBWM.
I am also part of the Windsor and Maidenhead Childminding Plus Team, working with children who have various Special Needs, including Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome and Global Development Delay.
I am a respite foster carer.
I have also cared for children of long haul flight crew, where the child has stayed with me for several days in a row.

Paediatric 1st Aid trained

I can also speak in French, though not fluently.

I am registered to care for up to six children under 8 years old including my own two
Two babies, under 1 year old (numbers permitting).
I have full time vacancies for children under 5 (school age).
I have vacancies for school aged children from 4 +
8am - 6pm Monday - Friday
I am registered for overnight care.
I am also available to work overnight, weekends, early morning and late evenings when necessary.
Emergency or ad hoc short term care is also possible.
A drop off/ collection service at nursery and school is available providing it fits in with current children's requirements.
