About Me
A warm hello to all prospective families! I am Katie, a highly creative and caring Nanny who loves to use my career to help children discover and learn the world in their own ways. I feel it is important to provide children with a fun and stimulating environment for them to thrive in. I love to involve the great outdoors where possible in their discovery and play as I feel it is rich with learning opportunities.
In my spare time I enjoy photography and crochet, making things for friends and toys for my little girl. I can also be seen going for walks around my home town in the countryside and am a keen baker too.
My Experience
I have over 15 years childcare experience working with children aged 3 months to 10 years old, and am a mother myself to a 11 month old little girl who is full of life. During my childcare career I have gained 5 years nanny experience working with children aged 3 months to 7 years old, and these roles have also involved household duties, school runs, after school tutoring and extra curricular activities. I have spent more recent years within a primary school completing my Primary QTS, gaining teaching experience from reception to year 6.
I have also been fortunate enough to work in a Montessori nursery setting, which is a learning style close to my heart and one I have adopted with my daughter. I am excited to take on a new nannying role where my incredibly easy-going daughter will also be with me, and provide safe and reliable care to a family who may need me. I have up-to-date DBS and first aid certificates. I am also prepared to become Ofsted registered on request.

My Availability
I am available for a variety of nannying roles, such as before and after school care or full or half days. My ideal working requirements would consist of the equivalent of a full 3 day position, however I am flexible with this and happy to accommodate more or less for the right family. As mentioned, my little girl will also be in my care whilst working.
