Hi!
I'm Eliza and I'm 29. I studied Education at Bath Spa University for two years but have decided to take another path as I found the academic side of it too hard and stressful. I love being with children and I feel like I have a good rapport with kids. I'm very reliable and fun to be around. I hope to be of some help to someone. :)
My Experience
I am currently working in a nursery and have been there for nearly 5 and a half years now. I am now looking into making my next step in childcare and I really believe that nannying will be a good fit for me. I was in the baby room (3 months - 18 months) for the first three and a bit years and then moved up to the next room last Summer which has kids aged 18 months to 2 years and now am back in baby room again. I’ve also have lots of experience covering in the other rooms in the nursery so am good with all ages. I worked at a local primary school in Kew in July as a year 3 teaching assistant for a year from Sept 2016 - July 2017 and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have experience in different year groups though as have helped out in Pre-kindergarten, year 1 and year 2, along with helping out with after school club supervising children from every year group. In my gap year, I had work experience in two local primary schools. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I helped out in all years but mostly in reception. I have babysat for neighbours as well.
My Qualifications
I have just finished my level 3 childcare qualification and I am CRB checked. I have also got 9 GCSEs and 4 A Levels and have got a Higher Education certificate. I also have first aid as well.
