Hello my name is Amie, I am a friendly bubbly outgoing person. I'm currently living in byfleet and work on a neonatal unit in a nearby hospital. My experience Is varied from newborn babies within my current job to older children from working in a local nursery as a nursery nurse, babysitting, caring or nursing including special needs. I really enjoy the interaction children bring and would be privileged to work with any family who need my services.
I would be available for babysitting, maternaty nurse and any other childcare needs on a part time / occasional basis.
My Experience
I have had varied roles within childcare. From a nursery nurse to a carer to student nurse and then a qualified nurse. Working with premature infants up to children of school ages. I have worked in special needs schools, and cared for a 18month old child with a muscular disorder requiring trackyostomy ventilation and 24 hr care.
I currently work on a neonatal unit with infants who are premature supporting families on there journey from the intensive care environment to going home.
Using a family-centred approach. I can offer child friendly, age appropriate care with emphasis on play for learning and I also have expertise in caring for babies with reflux.

My availablity is flexible as I work 3 days a week, However I would available in the day, evening and on the weekends for any childcare needs.
