I am a fun and friendly individual looking for a full time or several part time nanny positions. I have a Btec National Diploma in Early Years and have over 10 years experience working in Early years settings.
I love creative play and enjoy being outdoors. I love to see children learn through play and I have good knowledge of the early years framework and EYFS.
I am an animal lover, I have my own cat and two dogs. I own my own car and hold a clean driving license.
My Experience
I have over 10 years experience working within early years. I trained at City of Bath college for 2 years where I worked with a fantastic childminder, within a nursery and within a primary school. Whilst training with the childminer I gained experience working with children from birth to 5 years old. Whilst training in the nursery I worked with children aged 2-12 years old, occasionally covering in the after school club. Whilst training in the primary school I gained experience working with children aged 4-6 years old .After gaining my qualification I worked in a nursery with children aged 2-3 years for over 2 years. I then went on to become a room leader in a pre-school, working with children aged 2-5 years for just over 2 years. I have worked as a room leader in a much larger nursery, again working with children aged 2-3 years old. In my most recent setting I was the main 1 to 1 support carer for an individual child with additional needs. I have most recently worked in a setting with a free flow approach, whilst working here I have gained experience of supervising and supporting the learning and care of children from birth to 5 years. I have been nannying for several years now and have supported many family’s in this time with childcare and helping with the smooth running of the home.
My Qualifications
I have a Btec National Diploma in Early Years. Trained in marathon levels 1 and 2. I am trained in paediatric first aid. I also hold a full, clean driving license.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday from approx. 8.00am to 6.00pm but can be flexible if needed.
