I am a reliable and hardworking individual, who has passion for teaching. My dream is to work with children and inspire them to develop their full potential and unique personality. Cover letter:
The following is a more detailed look at my skills, passions and goals. As you would know it is important to keep active and always look for better ways to achieve your goals. I do this by playing basketball, which I have done for the past nine years, as well this I am on a football team and I have played tennis for the past four years. Not only this, I have been an active swimmer for three years and also taking part in Greek traditional dancing, as well as ballet and Latin dancing covering Tango, Roumba and Tsa-Tsa, to name a few. I am, also, part of our local theatrical team. These activities have been a tremendous source of growth, team building and cultural exchange, which I know only helps to enrich life.
I have, always, had a desire to travel and one of my goals was to become a nanny in a family such as yours so that I can become a valued family member while helping young minds develop in the directions the parents see fit and want their child follow. I often imagined myself in this position and thought about all the ways I could benefit my employer.
Some of my other skills include attending drawing and painting classes, which I have been doing along with private singing lessons, for the past three years. I was also part of a Choir for 8 years and performed next to well known singers, songwriters and composers, such as Alkistis Protopsalti, Mikis Theodorakis, Grigoris Mpithikotsis’ orchestra, Xaris and Panos Katsimixas, in the Athen’s Music Hall and The Roman Market in Monastiraki.
I see all this as character building and I know this will only aid me in helping the young minds I am responsible for, to get more out of life and be the best they can. In my spare time, I enjoy learning and doing courses on many different topics and life paths. I feel like I am using my time wisely, when I am learning something new. Also, I like going to the theater, museums and learning languages. I strongly believe in a healthy diet and active lifestyle for young children with a good balance between both.
When appropriate, I enjoy reading stories and fairytales to children and I like to write my own and illustrate them myself, it is very satisfying. As I was raised in a cultural environment I have been encouraged by my parents to read and create poetry and express myself creatively whenever I can. This has added much to my personal character and my ability to communicate on all levels.
So, I know I can offer your family, and especially your children, much, by providing them with many happy hours of play and teaching in a responsible and safe environment. I want very much to help your children reach the goals you set out for them and to support them throughout their journey.
The idea of travelling to Greece or any other country is very exciting as I like to travel and meet new and interesting individuals, so this part would not be any problem for me.
I believe that once you see and understand what can offer your family, then you will make the decision on what the salary should be. My main goal is to help and look after your children and only you know the true value of this.
As I mentioned above I have always wanted to be a “British Nanny”, as this is an exciting and interesting career goal, which will allow me to put into practice all the skills and qualities I have to help those around me reach their full potential. 2014 till Present: I am actively looking for work. I am undertaking self-improvement and employability classes.
My previous experience includes a sixteen year old student, who successfully obtained, in 2014, his first certificate in english (ECCE of Michigan) and a student who had dyslexia and associated problems in writing and reading. I specifically enjoyed this challenge and I would consider working with special needs children, an area of particular interest to me, which I would like to pursue further.
