Hi mums and Dads!
My name is Jemima Marie Borges, I am a fun loving young nanny, looking for full time work. I hold previous experience in nannying, mothers help and coaching sport and now work as a teaching assistant in a primary school where I will be training in September to become a qualified teacher. I am a very responsible, punctual individual who is very enthusiastic, bubbly and fun to be around. I am a fluent, native British speaker.
I am a previous sports coach for a soccer school, so I am very used to the basic needs of children as well as being a figure a child feels very comfortable and happy with.
My mother is a part time nanny as well as a early years practitioner in a nursery. Both in which i have played a small part in, from helping her look after the children she looks after to helping out around the nursery during sports days,plays and summer fairs.
A Little bit about myself-
I am very active person and love playing sports such as football, basketball and swimming.I also have a huge passion for music and have sang since a very young age along with playing a few instruments and have been lucky enough to perform in places such as the Barbican theater, Hackney empire and the Royal Albert hall. I have also been extremely lucky enough to have trained and performed with the National youth theatre. I am an avid reader and am often found with my nose stuck in a book!
I am a non smoker and live a very healthy life style.

My Experience

New born experience- Occasional Mothers help
(September 2013-July 2014)
Experience working in a soccer school coaching children aged 3-5 in 'little kickers sessions- 10 children, 90 minute sessions,Twice a week.
(September 2014- June 2015)
Looking after 2 young boys aged 3 and 5.
Duties included;
Bathing the children
Preparing healthy snacks and meals
House work and cleaning
Helping the children with reading and educational activities
Going on outings and play dates
Bedtime routine - (September 2015- End of January 2016 -)
Looking after two young girls aged 2 and 9
Duties include;
School and nursery pick ups,
-Preparing healthy snacks and meals,
-Going on outings and play dates,
-Taking the children to different classes
-Helping with development, reading and educational activities,
-Potty training,
-Bath and bed time routines,
- Basic house work and
- Ensuring the constant safety and well being of both children.

Four days a week, 10 hours per day sole charge care of two girls now 20 months and 6. Duties include;
-School pick up

- Going on outings to baby classes, baby gym, rhyme times and stay and plays.
- Organising and going on play dates.
- Bath routine.

Sole charge care of 4 year old girl 12:30-5:30 Monday to Friday.
Duties include;
-Preparing nutritional snacks and lunches.
-Arranging play dates and activities.
-Helping with homework and educational activities.
-Ensuring the constant safety and well being of Alice.
-Encouraging and assisting to excel in both educational, physical activities and hobbies.
-Taking Alice to and from classes outside of school such as ballet, swimming etc.
-Occasional late babysitting
-Occasional care for younger brother (1year) – who is involved in a separate Nanny share
-Full time hours on school holidays

2020-2021- trained with national youth theatre full time.
2021- present - Teaching assistant in primary school full time. Will be completing teacher training in September to become a qualified primary school teacher.

4 A levels grades A-B
Level 3 in Theatre and dramatic arts

Jemima was a part-time nanny for our 4 year old this year, as well as caring for our 18months old and we highly recommend her. She was fantastic with both, always on top of things and making sure they had a wide range of activities and play-dates, as well as being on top of manners and dealing with discipline. Both my children love her and literally run into her arms when she comes in. Though slightly younger by age - she was by far one of the most professional and capable nannies we have met! She was also really easy to work with - great at taking feedback and instructions, and I would always come home to a spotless & tidy flat. We will miss her dearly now that my daughter is going to full time school!!!
