About Me
hey there well what can i say im amy from Redruth, i am offering parents the opportunity to watch their children during the day time in school holidays or the evening whilst they work or just enjoy a rare night out! I have worked with children since leaving college at 18 where i qualified with a nvq level 3 in child care and education. i have worked in a pre school children aged 3 to 5 for the last 2 years but before worked in the same nursery in the under 2's unit so have extensive experience with children aged 3 months to 2 years. (12 years experience) I also have experience with older children as i also run a brownie pack in my free time. this is with children aged between 7 and 11 years and i help at a local rainbow pack which is with children aged 5 to 7 years so i have experience with children aged 3 months to 11 years.
the brownie pack I run I have done so for the last 10 years - this has included organising trips, planning activities and fun games to participate in and also dealing with accidents and incidents! whilst working at the nursery i gained many more helpful qualifications such as paediatric first aid, food hygiene, learning language and loving it (speech and language course) senco (special educational needs co - ordinator) and i undertook this role at work full time, I have also done a child protection and safeguarding course and a child behaviour course! i am available to work days in the school holidays or evenings, the only time I can not work is Tuesday's as this is the day I run my brownie pack
