About Me
I am 36 years old, married with a beautiful daughter aged 11 years. I work full time, term time only. I love to spend quality time with my daughter, having fun and making memories. We live in a small village on the island with my husband a prison officer, our cats and two rabbits. My approach to childcare is that I am caring for another persons most treasured possession, who is irreplaceable and that child must be cared for and treated as I would expect my own child to be.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for the past 18 years, I started off as the supervisor of a Baby unit before being promoted to Deputy Manager of a 40 place Day Nursery. I then changed jobs to work in a Pre-school caring for children aged 2-4 and was promoted to Manager, I also spent two years doing bank cover as an auxiliary on our local Maternity Ward caring for mothers and their newborns. I am a Designated Officer for Safeguarding (Child Protection), SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) am paediatric first aid trained, Epi pen trained, CRB checked and have years of experience and training under my belt.

My Availability
I am available to babysit evenings/weekends. I will consider daytime care during school holidays or on a weekend at your house or mine, but have to consider availability due to childcare for my daughter unless you are happy for her to help too (she loves children and is a great help caring and playing with other children, as she has been bought up helping me at work) We love to get out and about, explore and do fun things rather than being cooped up indoors. There is so much to do on the island!
