About Me
I am a teacher with over 19 years of experience in full-time primary teaching. I left full-time teaching in July 2015.
Currently, I am registered for supply teaching, private tutoring, and I have covered the occasional after-school care, and whole days when possible. I also have three young grandsons. The eldest grandson was born in 2016 and is now in school. My middle grandson was born in 2018 and is with me two days a week. My youngest grandson, born in 2019, is with me once a week.
As I've enjoyed working with children of all ages, it would be nice now to fill some of my time with a more regular nanny position, albeit for one or two days a week. I have friends who highly recommend the step from teacher to nanny, so I'm confident this would make the best use of my experience in the most rewarding and interesting way.
My Experience
I have over nineteen years experience in full time Primary Teaching across the age ranges of Year R to 6 (ages 4 to 11). My previous teaching post was with a Year 4 class.
My experience also includes working with children with disabilities such as Dyspraxia, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, Brain Trauma, and Autism.
I have recent toddler and baby experience.
I hold a current DBS certificate which can be viewed online or in hard copy.

Four year Teaching degree (B.Ed Hons)

Specialist subject English
DBS checked and available for viewing
My Availability
Ideally, I would prefer one full day but I am open to negotiation on hours and days worked. I am available for immediate start.
