About Me
Hi! I’m Julie, I’m an OFSTED registered Childminder living in a quiet close in East Preston, West Sussex. I live with my husband Dan and our two children Charlie and Jacob. Both my husband and I hold a current Disclosure and Barring check (previously known as CRB).
My Experience
I have worked in the care sector for the past 25 years, in that time I have worked with many different client groups including children, elderly dementia suffers and adults with learning disabilities and challenging behavior, therefore when it comes to behavior not much will surprise or shock me. I am also trained in epilepsy, including administering buccal Midazolam and rectal Diazepam.
My Qualifications
I have an advanced GNVQ in Health and Social care, and NVQ levels 2, 3 and 4 in care and management. I am trained in Paediatric First Aid which enables me to treat any minor injury or illness that may occur while the child is in my care. I have completed the home based Childminding course known as CYPOP 5, I have qualifications in food hygiene, health and safety, promoting positive behaviour, Autism awareness, ADHD awareness, characteristics of affective leaders, improving children’s learning through play, GDPR, supporting early language development, the prevent duty in early years environments, dyslexia awareness and safeguarding.

I am open 8am-6 pm Monday –Friday, however I am flexible and may be able to accommodate additional requirements.

- Childminding from £4.50 per hour

£4.50ph
If your child is attending on a Bank holiday then fee increases to £9.00ph
My fee’s are due on the 1st of the month and are paid in advance
Fees include healthy snacks and drinks
