About Me
I don't know if I'm supposed to write formal or informal here so I'm just going to go with it! Super down to earth girl & really easy to get on with. I am looking for a relaxed family who I can connect with. I'm a very hard working girl and have been in the same job(nurseries) for the last 7 years, it has just got a bit routinely for myself and I feel like I need new challenges/more responsibility. I love children and I believe they love me! I'm very creative and love arts and getting messy. Having so many children to care for in my setting sometimes made it challenging and I would love to nanny and provide all my care on an individual child/children. My Experience
I have been head of toddlers at my previous setting for 2 years. This job role meant that I worked very closely with the EYFS as I had ten children's development profiles to update monthly. However I then changed to head of babies as I requested more responsibility from my manager. I am very experienced with children from ages 0-5 and am able to wean, make up bottles and help babies with their first stages of development. I am very aware of how to ensure children can meet their next steps through play and adult lead activities. I also have worked in partnership with parents and formed some very good relationships with both children and carers over this period of time. Every 6 months I sit down with parents and update them on the development of their child through their profiles and discuss any concerns/ questions they may have. Being head of toddlers/babies also means that I manage other staff members to ensure they are professional and good role models to all children. My daily routine would include ensuring that all children's hygiene was followed, i.e washing hands before mealtimes, singing at circle times, creative activities, promoting speech etc with interaction. I am very creative and love to arrange activities which I know the children will take pride with and enjoy participating in. It is also important that I ensure these activities are learning experiences also and that they help each individual child achieve their targets.
